the fear + love concept slapped, i wished it had a better execution

#and tbh ancients dreams in a modern land should've been a two parter too #like the whole album felt very underwhelming to me #i was so excited with the singles #some fans were happy because 'oh at first is a social commentary and then it gets personal' #and yeah... who asked ? #i loved highly emotional people but the whole album could've had a more tight concept #shouldve stayed in the commentary #and i mean marina is not very politically apt or subtle but i think it's nice like i think it's better than when she goes literal #she can do personal but it's better when it's theough metaphors #if she goes the tsw1ft route it just falls flat ajsjsjs #izzy.txt
