i’m watching emblem chrom’s bond conversations on youtube bc i don’t have the energy to play rn and every time he mentions the shepherds i grow stronger

#it’s not that i don’t like the fates/engage formula of having the bulk of your army be a bunch of royals and their retainers but like #there’s just something so cozy about the shepherds’ dynamic bc at its core it’s just. chrom and a bunch of his friends #they’re not there out of any official obligation; they’re loyal to him and they believe in his goals #idk man it just hits different to me. im expecting i’ll like the greil mercenaries for the same reasons #tactician's log #engage
