you guys need to tone it down with calling the whole automatically deeming queer people as freaks and weirdos like some of us are just trying to exist

#q slur #idk i keep thinking about that reddit screenshot where a trans woman shared her coming out story and the op called her a gender freak #like… idc if you think that’s affectionate you have to be more considerate of who you’re calling a gender freak especially considering that #a lot of queer people still are sensitive when it comes to their sexuality/gender and embracing that #and the process of coming out is already very difficult #like just because you’re calling them freaky in an affectionate way it doesn’t mean that they’re going to view it as affectionate or #positive #also this goes double for white queer ppl bc queer poc (especially queer black people) are more likely to be ostracized and be subject to #ridicule or violence because of their race and queerness
