... What got put in that glycerine?! Like, ok, glycerine's pretty amazing as far as cosmetic applications go, sure, and even has some medical applications, but ... it isn't *that* magical. It's basically a sugar alcohol syrup. Ok, ok, I'll put the chemistry away for a bit. I'm surprised at how bold the "wizard of Hollywood" was, to straight up enslave someone on-camera, that just doesn't seem *smart,* but still. eagerness can get the better of anyone I suppose. It's an interesting process, with just a hint too much fear for me to get super into it. 7/10 spirals.

A different style of hypnosis script! This one leans strongly into other kinks - bondage, being gagged, and being hit with a flogger, all mixed up into one script. It's solid, and seriously speaks to my kinesthetic side, especially since I can hear it in my head as I read. I think this would be an amazing recording, if done well, and I'm sure the person it was originally written for did a wonderful job recording it. If you're the sort to get caught up in a script like this, be aware of what I already mentioned, as well as a suggestion to orgasm. 9/10 spirals.

Heee, Jo didn't learn the first trick of resisting - don't let your mind wander.  Because the minute you engage your imagination, the moment you give it free rein? well, that's when the subconscious takes over and you've already lost. But somehow I don't think she's going to mind having lost all that much - and Chantal isn't going to be the one gaining the winnings, either. I really got a sense of both of them, and gosh, I'm quite entertained by their dynamic, too. 10/10 spirals

Some people are just too eager to stop and *think* for more than 5 seconds. Seriously, though, if they're all the right sort to want to control the people around them, shouldn't they also occasionally think that "wait, what if this is a plot?" ... ah well, if they made smart choices we wouldn't have this story, which is overall a quite interesting look around what a mind control school might look like - complete with a totally unethical headmaster. Ah well, can't win 'em all. I'll stick with hypnocons - they're much more my speed, and as far as I know our organizers aren't out to control all the "competition" ;) 7/10 spirals

... I am *so completely baffled* by this driving need. I just am. I'm too ace to get it, I guess? But it's well described, and I've no objection to the story, it's just foreign to me. But if you like a gal being completely *dominated* by need for another gal, you'll probably enjoy this one pretty well? 5/10 spirals.

Heh, I almost wondered if there was going to be a twist that Eleanor was controlling him just as surely as he was (slowly) controlling her, but alas - not that it has the tags for that, of course, but still. It's quite an interesting motivation, and I applaud Kevin's patience, but also dude, how about you just, idk, flirt? seduce her? do this the normal, human way? *sigh* engineers, they just can't do things with anything less than their version of efficiency. And this just doesn't quite hit the spot for me. 6/10 spirals.

There's a lot I like about this story; the sudden change from walking away to being so dominant, the clear indication that it was planned that way all along, teh way he uses her desires against her to make her his... and the formatting works really well for the story told, too! Just, all of it is wonderful, other than my far-too-typical commentary of "ethics, dude!" but well, you can't have everything. 9/10 spirals.

I feel like we've seen these two in a previous story, but I can't quite place it. Maybe it's just that they feel so much like Michael and Lynn? Same sort of "these people feel FAMILIAR I had in 'It's All Coming Back to Me Now.' " Ah well, that's fine, I like the characters so I'm not complaining. This is a sweet interlude, of intimacy and submission and just willingly, happily giving to a partner that I really enjoy. A bit sex heavy, but that's a me thing, not an actual issue with the story; the story makes it work. 10/10 spirals.

The last line of this story just *makes it* for me. It's such a line I would say (as anyone who's been reading along with my reviews could probably *tell*). But in general, this is a good story, seeing someone describe how their fantasy got corrupted and guided and the effects it had on them ... leaving the reader to wonder just how much was an organic daydream to begin with. My guess is not that much. Though me being me, I'm curious as to the circuits our narrator was working on. 8/10 spirals.

The consensual ones are always my favourites (she says surprising 0 readers of her reviews). And this one is just FUN. Stepping into an early conditioning session, with someone who knows the basics of what to do but who is still learning, still practicing, and seeing how she takes to the training? Oh, it's delightful. Little one isn't my favourite pet name for a submissive, but that's seriously my only quibble with this story. The rest of it is just delightful. 9.5/10 spirals.

So, I did a little sarcastic-y review from the salt mines for RNM 3x09. Warnings for excessive sodium content, Maribel mourning, a desire to recycle cardboard, and, of course, Malex opinions. Without further ado:
- Every time Michael smiles I forget for like 5 whole seconds how much I hate that Malex keeps me shackled to this show. Too cute that he brought Alex lunch (and probably hoped he could sneak a glimpse of him) and they're going on their first date (omg omg omg).❤❤❤❤❤
- Kyle should yell at people more. Starting with his garbage friends who left him in a barn without proper triage or jello cups while he was in a coma (why didn't they just keep him at DS if he's having appointments there anyway? Nevermind... ). Alas, he's starting his understandable rage tour with Uncle Edgelord, who, naturally, makes a dramatic statement and tries to leave. I am so glad Kyle called him on that.
- Delmanes would be cute if Greg didn't have the personality of cardboard. They've created a character who is actually only here to remind us of how special and amazing Maria is. Turns out that's not super interesting. And it's so painfully obvious that it's a pair-your-spares situation. I really wish they'd just give her Kyle, he has the patience of a saint. Anyway, Isobel's pigtails are cute af (rip my Isobel/Maria/Kyle heart - I would have taken Isobel interrupting Delmanes and Heather's post with pigtails today as signs if not for genetics).
- Anatsa and Isobel's development seems to have taken place completely off-screen, like everything else gay on this show, so I'm guessing it's gonna stick. Honestly...I guess this is controversial but Isobel and Maria have really good chemistry and a history. I know their bond is supposed to read "sibling" but it doesn't for me. And rather than waste time watching them flirt with these one-note (ah, Greg chimes in right on time with a convenient line any rando could have delivered) LIs, I'd much rather see them get closer. The whole related thing has thrown a wrench into it for me. That said, it's nice to watch a woman be encouraged to go after another woman. 🎉
- Alex the sci-fi/fantasy nerd figuring out immediately that the hallucination is his own subconscious is 100% legit. Much like Kyle not letting his uncle pull a classic tall-dark-and-broody exit, I appreciate Alex's 4th-wall break moment.
- Not Max and Liz proving that discussions about s2 drama can occur on Roswell New Mexico?! What? Must be a straight thing. Lucky them.
- Isobel is actually acting a lot like Sherlock Holmes when he's on a case, from the wardrobe to the focus, and it's hot. Also, totally believable that Isobel would be able to pull up that pod from under the ice because we know she's been training even if it didn't happen onscreen. Because she told us. Just a suggestion.
- I love the idea of Jim Valenti as a double-agent, but I don't see how Eduardo thought he could keep Kyle safe by never knowing him. It feels like there's a lot more here Eduardo isn't saying.
- It wasn't a sister-fight that Maria and Isobel had, but whatever (no one got physically shoved or brought up a horrifying memory from 100000 years ago to shove in someone's face in public - doesn't count).
- Also, why would you waste a glass by throwing it into the fireplace? Wouldn't it just explode back in your face? Man, the show is trying so hard with Maria and Greg, I want to give them some kind of romance-novel award for effort (but not success).
- Not Liz and Max showing us that it's possible to move forward by discussing your past mistakes like adults instead of pretending they didn't happen!? What? Must be a straight thing. Lucky them.
- Draw a line on the bottle? No way, Valenti, he obviously wants you to chuck that whole thing straight into the fire in a fit of passion to prove that his words had an emotional impact.
- Also, Kyle wins the prize for this episode for that speech to Uncle Edgelord. Everyone go home. When do I get a Kyle and Alex spin-off where they travel the world, defying sci-fi tropes and seducing beautiful men and women?
- Not Liz and Max talking loudly about aliens while breaking and entering! This one is actually very believable, I take it back.
- It was idiotic of Liz to trust Heath. And Echo keep having this same fight because MAX IS RIGHT BUT THE SHOW WON'T LET HIM BE. Which is so obnoxious. I would forgive Liz for almost any sin (like, idk, getting a better romantic storyline because she's straight) because she's gorgeous and smart and tough and I wanna go live with her and her mad scientist energy on a deserted island somewhere. But she's being real dumb rn.
- I love the t-shirt and if Vlambase doesn't sell one I will. But he couldn't have held up a radio and blasted some Barry White? I feel like that would have cleared everyone but Alex put of the building real fast. Also, what is time on Roswell NM? Was Alex just setting the alarm every so often for kicks? Does Eduardo really not check in on staff who are working with dangerous technology for days on end? Also, why is this entire plot happening over a single goddamn episode instead of two or more so that we can really feel Alex wasting away under the machine's influence? The reason this twist is at all surprising is also the entire plot's undoing - Alex's demeanor wasn't exactly one of a man obsessed (or an addict, tbh) in his last scene.
- Anyway, back to Rizzoli and Isles. I definitely am always super excited to hear the details of my sister's sex life. All the time. That is totally a sister thing except where it's really not. Do any of these writers actually have a sister? I feel like they must because the Michael/Max/Isobel sibling chemistry is always bang on but Maribel is just...flirty lady city. Oh, and look, the beard just showed up with coffee to cockblock - it really is R&I!
- Back to Alex's plot line, which, much like Isobel's coffee, is Express To-Go. He's become haggard and worn in the time it's taken Michael's mom to find a cute sweater in the void. Seriously, we wasted like 3 whole episodes where Alex was presumably sitting in DS twiddling his thumbs and now he's being worn down by the machine in a single episode? Why didn't this plot start back in episode 3 or 4? Like...look, I don't come on here to be an asshole. But I just really hope they're taking note of what worked this season and what didn't because HOLY PACING FIASCO BATMAN. Just because you're giving us Malex doesn't mean everything else can just be hot garbage (not the acting, Taylor's doing his best to sell this). Also, when did Alex put his leg back on? I have so many questions but they aren't the good kind, so Michael better ride in soon and save this mess.
- Regarding what Nora is saying, it's fine, it makes sense but the zero build up makes it completely ineffective. Alex is afraid he doesn't love enough - it would have been nice to see that over several episodes instead of just being told in a burst of sudden exposition but, you know. Nice straight things we can't have, I guess.
- If Michael and Alex want their relationship to "purr" they could, idk, talk through their past misunderstandings like people in relationships do. Or the show could keep throwing exposition bombs at them, idek.
- Are those empty toilet paper rolls inside the machine? I knew the CW was budget but come on...
- And we finally get the Heath connection and it's to our brand new trope-y character, Wise Old Black Man Dallas. It's surprising but only because the 4th alien didn't exist before this episode. So, good job.
Overall, not the worst episode of RNM ever. I only wondered why I watch this show maybe 3 times this episode. And Michael's enthusiasm for Alex was adorable.

15 questions, 15 mutuals (I sure ain't have that)
Tagged by @casketlocks
(Ain't do this in forever)
I'll tag random people I have interacted with or have interacted with me and I want to know better soooooo...
I tag: @jen-is-himbo (it still won't let me tag you), @ain-elohim , @pureeviilandhate , @daruncic , @spooksthedead , @wiitchez-x (I'm not sure if I got the URL right but won't pop up at all), @juuling-and-schooling , @joranenagaaran , @tomoyo-h .... IDK who else so yea
1. Are you named after anyone?
Nope my mom got my name from a baby book in the year 2000 (ain't a common name tho)
2. When was the last time you cried?
Um uhh I don't cry too much unless I'm angry and that was IDK maybe a few weeks ago? IDK
3. Do you have kids?
N o n e-------unless you can count my cat as one
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
No I'm too straight forward with shit I can't even joke. Got told a joke today and I took it seriously (back to day zero on that)
5. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Their height usually. I can identify a lot of heights accurately (safety and fighting reasons-what if I gotta fight that person idk but don't worry I don't cause trouble)
6. What's your eye color?
Really dark brown, almost near black in some angles (to me that's cool and sexy as fuck brown eyed folks where ya at)
7. Scary movie or happy ending?
Scary movie. Always, I can't get enough of it.
8. Any special talents?
I'm a fast learner when it comes to most things (if it will benefit me for sure or helps someone else). I can lick my elbow due to my long neck. I can come up with random lyrics or poetry always after I shower. I can think of random things but there is always a reason behind it.
9. Where were you born?
Right here in the Midwest, I ain't gon say the state, too personal.
10. What are your hobbies?
Shiiii writing poetry, lyrics, sometimes stories, photo shopping, video editing, day dreaming, going outside for a simple walk, and sometimes I play various video games on my Nintendo DS/3DS or Xbox 360. I used to do sewing, crocheting, making friendship bracelets, and drawing in my free time but... eh
11. Do you have any pets?
Yea just my bebby Sharif... right now she is on my bed as I blast music in my ears. She is curled up in a tight ball partially covering her face... yall don't know how much I love her she is the best cat we have ever had.
12. What sports do you play/have you played?
I could play anything growing up (except kickball and slowly sports that involved balls cause I'd get hit with them). I have done two years of track and field doing sprinting and I got on varsity my 3rd year of high school. I also liked playing this "kid friendly" version of dodge ball that was called "oskee"?? I'd avoid the game the whole time giving people balls to hit with, I'd yell "WHO WANTS A MEAT BALL" with a goofy Italian accent then boom I'd be the last one on my team and I'd have to try to get everyone back in the game (as boys tried to throw balls at me hard as FUCK and I dodged that shit like I was in the Matrix). Call me a demon but I did not mind the national fitness pacer test (American standardised physical testing for non Americans) or any of those tests and I did better than all the girls every single time (except that stretch shit my ham strings were tight as fuck but not anymore). I'd at least do 30-50 laps before I just died. I also enjoyed doing 2 years of weight lifting in high school. I've also done a year of martial arts (still practice it when I'm angry). So I'm a pretty fit person but hard to tell when I can just sleep all day.
13. How tall are you?
Actually like 5'3 and something but it's so close to 5'4 I just round it to that.
14. Dream job?
Being a pathologist because I've always been fascinated with bodies and how people have died either from being killed, diseases, illnesses, the process of what a dead body goes through, etc. Yall prolly can not tell in the midst of my goofy shit posts that I really got a passion for some intricate things- I hate to brag on how well I did academically and shit.
15. Favorite subject at school?
About any extracurricular class I had was my favorite. My most favorite was my science classes (chemistry and human anatomy & physiology) and of course English.

HELLO HAVE SOME SHIP ASKS: explain why do/don’t ship klance AND tsukkiyama? what’s a ship you like that most people don’t? what is the most underrated ship, in your opinion?
Oh boy, this is gonna be a wild ride. (Thanks Bruh, you never disappoint.)
1. Why do I ship Klance?
I started shipping them purely because of aesthetic. I got into Voltron in a rather unusual (for me) way. I knew that there was such a show, I knew that it was popular and because of that I was being stubborn and I haven’t planned on even checking it out. But, idk why, suddenly (last November?) there was more and more of Voltron on my dash and I was like, waaaaaait, that blue one is hot. Yoooo, same with the red one. Oh, what if I shipped them?! That’d look good.
I tried to resist. And I failed big time. At first I told myself - ok, I’ll read just few fics, I’ll have my fill and be over it. I never had my fill. So I decided to watch the show. At the moment only s1 was out. And I SO FELL IN LOVE it’s unreal. I’m sure you remember my struggle last December.
I love everything about Keith and Lance’s relationship and I love them both as separate characters (though I do have some serious problems with some fandom characterisations).
Hot and cold bickering power couple who starts supporting each other with time. YES PLS THIS IS MY JAM
Also - I heavily relate to Lance, often to the point that ‘me’ ‘mood’ and ‘same’ aren’t ironic meme-phrases but I mean them seriously. And when it comes to Keith - I always was attracted to such a type of the guy - be it in fiction and reality. Both when it comes to personality and looks. (Well, maybe minus longish hair, they’re not my fav thing in real life.)
2. Why do I ship TsukiYama?
It just… feels right. I tend to say it a lot but here I go again - I got into Haikyuu pretty early, a long, long time before the anime. Tsukishima became my fav immediately, he’s that type of a character that I go for from the very first second. And Yamaguchi was always beside him.
I can’t pinpoint the exact reason or the exact moment when I started shipping them. It just so happened, so naturally, as if it simply was meant to be.
I love how they are there for each other, how they support each other, how they influence the other to be a better version of themselves. And how they trash talk others together.
3. Ship I like but others don’t?
To be honest - nothing comes to my mind. And I’m not sure if the question is about if I like disliked pairing or a pairing that simply is overlooked because there are ‘better/more popular’ ones.
Well, I kind of thought about ShimaYukio from Ao no Exorcist? I’m not that much into the fandom (I only read manga and watch anime if it airs) so I’m not sure how correct I am with this statement but - back in the day, I remember Okumuracest being fairly popular for Yukio (I never shipped that) and Shima was shiped with either Rin or Bon. I had a phase of ShimaRin but is was weak and somewhat lacking something for me. Then I came across ShimaYuki and B HDUSBS HD SHK DSH DHK DS D SDHS DSHL DSK.
Also - I am so fucking hyped about the current events in the manga. I loved Shima since the very beginning, the Illuminati arc made me love him even more (though I understand why some people might have started to hate him) and the most recent chapters have me on edge with what’s going with Yuki. And that it was Shima who appeared in front of him at the end of 93th chapter!
4.Underrated ship?
Despite being similar to the previous question, coming up with an answer was far more easier.
EnnoTana from Haikyuu.
It’s such a good ship. They have a great relationship, great chemistry and all but people are kind of… blind to it? I know that there’s shitload of possible ships in Haikyuu but neither of them is really that much shipped with any other characters? Ennoshita is often overlooked in general while Tanaka is shipped mostly with Noya and Tora or is the Token Straight Guy.
Kind of combining 3 and 4:
I often find myself liking ships from small, obscure or even nonexistent fandoms. To name few:
Akame ga Kill - Tatsumi/Wave/TatsumiBubuki Buranki - Hiiragi/AzumaChihayafuru - Arata/TaichiDeath Parade - Ginti/Clavis/GintiHitsugi no Chaika - Tooru/Alberic/TooruKamisama Dolls - Kyohei/AkiKyokai no Kanata - Hiroomi/AkihitoQualidea Code - Kasumi/SuzakuRokka no Yuusha - Goldov/AdletSayonara Zetsubou Sensei - Kudo/SenseiYoukoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e - Horikita Manabu (Suzune’s older brother)/Ayanokouji
Once again - big thanks, I had so much fun with these.
Questions from here.
