*barely restrained rant about marketing and portfolio week*

#nobody needs to know the petty drama of the petition to reinstate the option of selling works at the end of term show #I do need to vent about my feelings of developing a Reputation around the school #but it feels somewhat all in my head. maybe if I got more sleep and ate regular meals I'd feel more normal about it #idk something something crabs in a bucket #(but maybe I really AM that special and talented. and maybe next year I can come back and teach a week of the class I only just took?!) #it's absolutely wild how little qualifications it seems to take to be a college prof?! #idk I think my alleged (in my head) Reputation is partly just down to me wandering around the school and talking to people #all the certificates are insanely intense and we tend to stick to our studios and there's a silo effect #also like. its a tiny campus. the admin staff all know my name because theres just not many students #maybe I will write up the gossip about the show vs sale and also rant about marketing and portfolio. just not tonight
