Pssst! Please do not buy betta fish just because of satosugu if you a) don't know how to properly take care of them and b) do not have the money or supplies to take care of them!

If you really want to give some of these little guys and gals a home, I'd highly recommend that you do prior research on how to take care of both the fish and the environment (tank) that they'll be in. Monitor their health, behavior, appearance, diet, water quality, and water temperature. Give them as much care as you would any other pet, because despite how resilient (and unfortunately popular as first pets) they are, a LOT of betta fish get sick and die because of pet owners that either don't know or don't care about them.
