i don't think there are any haters of the theme of emu fes (or at least i haven't seen them as much as i saw tsukasa fes' haters. this card i am also defending for the rest of my life but this has been already said so there's nothing much from me to say) but if there actually IS someone then you're not invited to my emu themed birthday party

both the untrained and the card story are perfect in capturing emu's grief, which is definitely not talked about enough in this fandom — even though phenniland is saved and she has moved on onto the "new world" with the rest of wxs, she still misses her grandpa dearly, obviously. she still wants to see him, this is the very core of her feelings and motivation

and her trained does a good job too. it's not my favorite emu card ever, but it serves being a fes card very well. it doesn't have to be all sparkling and whimsical, it's supposed to reflect emu's very self — the innocent and nostalgic part of her, the one who still looks up into the past sometimes, despite going forward (hence her pose, or at least i like to think so). yes! i had different themes in mind! but a calm and bittersweet emu fes is ABSOLUTELY what she deserves, because she's not just an one-dimensional always happy wandahoi whose cards HAVE to be full of things happening on them 24/7

If us little hobby writers can pick apart each miniscule thing, I expect people who are paid for it, showrunners, to at least keep the large plot point in order. The plothole of how Carlos was supposedly not prime suspect nr. 1 for anyone as Iris' husband in season 1 is the size of the Pacific. I'm sure that us tarlos fans are a bit too critical about these men but come on, don't have a whole season about a brother and then not even have a kid at the wedding. Don't give us siblings you never mentioned and don't expect us to care for the emergence of a dying brother. I feel up to season 3 they were at least okay with some big details but season 4 was an open season for time anomalies and question marks and trauma. Do I still love it. I pull my little stupid weewoo show against my chest and defend it to the death (while poking into its flaws)

controversial one, top 5 types of milk? Can be either by animal or lite/soy/etc

(I was enthralled in an hour long conversation with a friend in which I had to defend the good name of goat milk earlier and now you have to deal with this I'm sorry)

1) okay i kinda have to pick goat milk as nr 1 here too cause milking goats is literally my job lol. ngl tho i dont drink milk all that often in general lol (pretty much only in coffee)

2) whole milk (cow), thats what i buy when i buy milk at the store. can never go wrong with that

3) milk powder, kinda controversial but its not too bad? i use it occasionally cause i dont drink much milk and i wanna avoid having it go bad yknow. milk powder is good for that

4) pea milk, i wanna add at least one plant-based milk here and this is kinda the only one i like lol

5) coconut milk, okay im kinda running out of milk to list now. its nice for cooking?
