physical therapy is amazing everyone with chronic illnesses that can cause muscular issues should have access to physical therapy!!!!!!!

i was offered pain management by multiple doctors before my endometriosis specialist referred me to an amazing physical therapy office. multiple physicians were willing to prescribe me (a mentally unstable 19-21y/o) oxycodone or hydrocodone—some of them were kind of pushy. even after i’d tell them i’ve had close family members die from opioid addiction, that i wasn’t comfortable with it, they’d always bring it up next appointment like it was my only option.
