i headcanon sanemi keeping his uniform open like that because his dad used to choke him a lot whenever he fought back to protect his mother or his younger siblings and he feels uncomfortable to have something tight around his neck, as for the abs showing i think he’s both showing his scars with pride but also bc he can move more freely and doesn’t feel like something is holding him, constricting him (like his father used to do to hit him)
