[ 10.05 ] badboy!jaemin — fluff / hurt to comfort

jaemin stood there with a smile on his face, a black leather jacket hung over his arm showing a long sleeve t-shirt of a band you didn’t know. the black ripped jeans went well with the outfit and the faux leather boots tied it all together. a few cuts an bruises covered his hands and face, you can only imagine what the rest of his body looks like. his look contradicted the bright pink tulips in his hand.

his smile never dropped when he saw you in your pyjamas, the trousers and tee were obviously from different sets and your hair, although greasy, framed your face perfectly to him.

“hel… jaemin.” your grip on the door tightened as you realised who it was. “sorry, i’ve got to go.” you rushed out before going to close the front door once more. unlike when you left him, jaemin let you.

his smile wasn’t as big but it was still present, “i know you’re still behind that door, so i’m still going to talk. you can walk away whenever you want to, my lovely, but i’ll keep talking.” he looked at the door with so much love, the thought of you waiting on the other side was so comforting to him.

you were. you stood near the door with your back turned. oh how much you love him, but being with him was out of the equation at the moment.

“your brother, donghyuck, he won’t stop me from loving you. that i’m sure of.” he looked down at the tulips, he felt so silly, these weren’t even in your favourite colour but it was all they had left.

jaemin looked back up at the door but a sound drew his attention, a battered donghyuck opening his window but jaemin’s confidence didn’t faulted in the slightest.

“he doesn’t like me, i know that much, and to be honest i don’t like him but my love for you is much stronger than my hatred for him.” he said while glancing at donghyuck.

you turned to face the door, your hand gently placed on the cool metal. you were hesitant, you love him but family must come first, it always has. “you know i can’t, he’s my brother.” you replied, only loud enough so it could just pass through the door and reach jaemin.

“and i’m your lover… i won’t force you to make a choice but just know that i won’t even stop trying because i love you.” he was so sincere it shattered your heart to know you would have to say no.

you were too deep in thought to hear donghyuck coming up from behind you. he stood directly behind you and his arm reach around you body to place his hand on yours. “i can’t forgive him and i doubt he will be able to do the same,”

he looked down at you with a smile “but he loves you so much and you love him, he came here at ten in the morning and he has been for days.” your brows frowned in confusion.

“he’s been coming for days, morning and evening but myself and mom have turned him away. it’s why we fought yesterday,” he let out a small chuckle, smiling. “i told him to leave you alone because you said you were done with him but he refused to give up.”

before you could reply to your brother he pushed down the front door handle and opened it. the initial shock wore off after you saw jaemin.

his smile widened once more as he lifted up the flowers, hesitantly you took them. holding them with two hands you looked at them and him and then behind at your brother.

“jeno and mark agreed to see past what happened if you and renjun spill what you know. just something for you to think about.” donghyuck says as he takes the flowers and walks away, going off the background noise you assume he’s putting them in a vase for you.

daringly you take a step onto the porch in front of jaemin, eyes locked. they held so much love and passion, it was intense. but his love was like that and it’s what you loved so much about him.

taking that as a sign he lifted both of his hands to rest on your cheeks, “honey, please don’t leave me again…” the look on his face told you tears were soon going to brim in his eyes.

“a day without you is like hell, not even jaehyun to get through to me… please don’t do that again…” he came closer to you, this moment was special to both of you.

Just another fan

can this really be true?

summary: you’re a big fan of nct dream, and na jaemin is your ultimate bias. somehow you won a chance to go to a fansign to meet them...

a/n: hello reader! since this ff got a little long I decided to split it up into two parts. this is part 1 and part 2 will be up shortly. hope you enjoy reading :)

You can’t believe your eyes when you opened your brand new reload album. The panic and excitement going through your body when you see that you got into a fansign. You didn’t think that this would ever happen in your life, but it really did happen.

“Omg I don’t even know what I’m going to tell them when I see them!” You think about this.

It took a good minute for you to process everything that was going on in this very second. So many thoughts were running through your brain like, should I even go? What am I going to say to them? I don’t think I’m good enough to go. But you realized that this was literally a once in a lifetime experience that many people die to get in to. You quickly FaceTime your best friend to tell them the news.

“Girl you can’t believe what just happened to me just now!” You tell your friend unable to get all the words out properly.

“What happened?! I’m kinda scared...” she replies with confusion.

“Your girl just got into an nct dream fansign!!” You scream at the screen.

“What the heck. How did you even get in??” she replied in shock.

“Okay I just opened my album like usual and bam it was just there, so apparently I’m going to the fansign this weekend. I’ve gotta prepare omg!” You explained to her.

“Yeah that’s really soon, also I’m super happy for you! You finally get to meet your ultimate group, and Jaemin...” she winks at you and teases you.

“I don’t think I can even spit out words if I met him... I need to plan out what I’m going to say” you start laughing.

“Well I gotta go now, I have to help my parents with some stuff. Call me if you need help” she ended the call.

After the call you just stared at the fansign ticket for a while still unable to process this. You only had 2 days to prepare what you were going to wear and say, this was a big deal.

*the day of the fansign*

You woke up this morning with a big smile on your face and butterflies in your stomach. This is the day that you finally get to meet the boys who you’ve been watching through the screen, and were that fan in the crowd and cheering for them. This meant so much for you.

With that, you got ready and did your makeup and hair nicely so that you looked presentable. Your mom drove you to the venue where the fansign was being held and once you got out of the car and walked to the front doors everything got so real.

“I literally can’t believe this is happening right now, I don’t know what I’m doing.” You think to yourself.

You walk through the doors and feel the air conditioned lobby. There’s a sign directing you to where the fansign is taking place. You follow the signs and meet with a security guard who will be checking your ticket and doing a security check on you.

Passing the security check the guard prompts you into the fansign room and you see a bunch of other fans that are just as excited as you. You wait in line as the other fans start piling in. As time passes it starts to get packed.

One of the managers comes out and speaks through a microphone getting everyone’s attention. The manager is introducing nct dream and explaining the rules that need to take place in order for things to run smoothly. As she finishes nct dream walks out and they take their seats at the table.

Your eyes are instantly focusing on the one and only na jaemin who’s literally in the same room as you. And shortly you’ll be right in front of him and talking to him. Your heart starts beating really fast and you feel the colony of butterflies in your stomach.

The line starts moving and you’re getting closer and closer to the table. After an hour you’re basically in front of nct dream and they can clearly see you in the front. You get really nervous and can barely look at their beautiful faces. It’s finally your turn to get your album signed and an opportunity to talk to the boys. You start walking towards the table and the first person you meet is renjun.

“Hello! Thanks for coming out today, what’s your name?” Renjun asks you looking into your eyes.

“Hi! It’s so nice to meet you, my name is y/n!” You reply with a smile.

You two start talking about his career and he signs your album. Your time is up with renjun and you move onto haechan.

“Hi haechan! I’m so happy to meet you!” You look at him with a smile.

“Hello, thanks for coming today! What’s your name?” Haechan asks you.

The conversation in the beginning is very similar to what you and renjun had so that he knows what to write in your album. Somehow you managed to make haechan laugh with a stupid joke which was the best feeling. Your time is up with him and you move onto the next person.

“Hello jisung! I love your dancing and you’re such a nice person.” You tell jisung.

He smiles and says thank you to you. Again, asking for your name so that he can write in your album. Jisung and you have an interesting conversation since you two can relate to things well, since you’re the youngest in your family you told him that and you two told each other about your struggles of being the youngest. You then moved on to jeno.

“Hi jeno! I’m so proud of how successful you are!” You tell jeno.

“Aw thank you! It wouldn’t have been possible without you and the other nctzens!” He thanks you.

The two of you start talking about your interests and surprisingly you have some things in common, jsut like you and jisung did. Before you left he smiled at you and thanked you for coming and you couldn’t help but smile back looking at his cute eye smile. You moved onto the next person, you were getting really close to meeting Jaemin.

“Hi chenle! I love your voice, you’re super talented!” You complimented him.

“Thank you so much! It means a lot!” He thanked you and smiled.

The two of you laughed a lot during the time you had together and you had a fun time laughing with him. His laugh killed you and you couldn’t stop laughing. Finally the most nerve wracking part of the fansign, it’s time for you to meet Jaemin.

“H-hi Jaemin! You’re such a great rapper and dancer!” You can’t really get your words out right, you didn’t really notice since your were extremely nervous.

“Hello! Don’t be nervous haha I don’t want you to be scared!” He looked at you and smiled.

That big smile he had when he looked at you held so much power you can feel your heart beating at 100 miles per hour. It really got you.

“What’s your name? Also I like your outfit, it looks really nice!” Jaemin asks you and also compliments how you look.

“Ah my name is y/n! Haha it took me a while to pick out what I was going to wear today, thanks for the compliment!” You respond, you can feel your ears getting hot.

Jaemin keeps making you weak with the things he’s saying to you. It feels so unreal. The two of you had a deep conversation about life, which you didn’t expect but as soon as you knew it, it was already time to end the conversation.

“Thank you for coming y/n! By the way look at what I wrote in your album.” He whispered the last part to you, so that nobody else would hear.

“Thank you Jaemin! I’ll look at it!” You respond with a smile on your face.

You walk away from the table feeling relieved but very nervous to see what he wrote in your album. You walked out of the room and into the lobby. You found a place to sit so that you could open your album and see what he wrote. You found his page and couldn’t believe what he put there. It read...

“Thank you y/n for coming today! I’m glad we were able to have a great conversation and I would like to get to know you more since you seem like such a great and beautiful person. If you’d like to, please meet me at the back entrance in an hour since that’s when I’ll be done!”

Your jaw dropped and you couldn’t believe your eyes. Na Jaemin, our ultimate bias, really wrote this in your album. How could you even be the one that stood out to him? All these thoughts running through your brain made it hard for you to think about what you were going to do next. After a few minutes you realized what he wrote so you wanted to do what he said. With that you made your way to the back entrance and waited there for a good hour.

(A/N: oh my gosh y'all, i haven't written bullet point in so long TT also, i wrote this scenario literally like 8 months ago. I typed it out 8 months ago too, but it got lost in the damn void and i just haven't gotten a chance to actually retype it all. Anyways, another addition to my soulmate series! i hope y'all enjoy ;3)

OKAY START!

so as a kid you always wondered where your soulmate was

your best friend always told you what direction your string went

after realizing how long your string could actually be

you started to think that your soulmate was all the way across the world

spoiler: he is

after a few years

you lowkey stopped searching for your soulmate and decided to let the "natural destiny pull" bring you two together

one day

you're like 14 now

when you get to school, your best friend is like

"hey, there's this kpop group called EXO"

AND BOOM

now you like kpop

so after that day

you've been learning korean

and after about 2 years, you and your best friend reletivly fluent

your best friend got tickets to an NCT showcse in Seoul

so you listened to some of their songs

but with 18 members, you didn't really remember their names

so you two fly to Korea

and on the day of the showcase

y'all leave early

(to avoid the crowds and such)

you get to your seats

you're in like the third row

as you wait you just kind of sit and chat until the show starts

(OH YEAH. once you're within a certain distance of your soulmate, you can feel your string move as your soulmate moves.)

backstage

jeno peeks to see the arena

and all of a sudden Mark just freaks out

"jeNO YOUR STRING IS MOVING"

at first, jeno is a little confused

"what?!"

so mark followed the string with his eyes

and he sees it fall into the crowd

his eyes light up and he looks back to jeno like

"dude, she's in the crowd!!"

now, jeno starts to get nervous

HIS SOULMATE IS IN THE CROWD

WHAT IF HE FUCKS UP?!

(he won't though obviously)

DREAM opened with WE YOUNG

and the whole time it was a little difficult for jeno to move smoothly

because of the string

it was kind of restraining

it was harder for you though

your arm was getting pulled back and forth every time he moved

your best friend was laughing at you

because of how much distress you were in

but she was also really excited for you

lee jeno is your soulmate

when they finished the first song

they did their introductions and continued the show

when they went for a clothing change

mark told a security gaurd what you and your friend were wearing

so they could identify you

so when the gaurd comes over to you two, your kind of nervous

but the gaurd is just like

"excuse me, can you two follow me please"

you're just like afraid because you might be in trouble or something

but you two comply and follow him

all of a sudden you're backstage

and your friend just smacks your arm and nods over there

when you look over to where she's signaling

and you lock eyes with jeno

then there's that "instant soulmate connection"

you friend decides to SHOVE YOU TOWARDS HIM

and mark does the same to jeno

but harder

so he almost falls

but you stick your hands out and lowkey catch him

he grabbed your hands on his way down too

reflexes, y'know

but he let's go once he regains his balance

and he's all embarassed

then you feel something tighten around your finger

you and jeno both look down

and you see a white string appearing

it was short and connected both of your index fingers to one another

mark and your friend are dying over in the corner over how cute the scene between their friends is

because now you and jeno look at each other again

and you break the silence with a shy smile

"um hi,,,,,, i'm Y/N,, your soulmate?"

",,,, what's your name?"

jeno is kind of confused again

"i'm jeno? from nct.. i thought you knew that considering you came to the showcase.."

as he's scratching the back of his neck nervously you answer

"well, i didn't know that. my friend made me come today."

jeno frowns a little bit because now he's kind of under the immpression that you don't like them

but you catch that and quickly add to it

"but i'm kind of upset that i didn't know about you guys sooner, you guys are amazing."

and so he smiles at you

you smile back and lowkey admire his eye smile

he's a little more confident now so he's like

"well, maybe we should go on a date and get to know each other."

you agree of course

(this boy is actually really sweet, and really cute so)

their manager comes up though and tells them that they go back on in 5

so jeno looks back at you and gives you some intructions

"wait at your seat after the show. someone will bring you back here and we can take some more, okay?"

his eye smile returns when you nod and smile up at him

he gets a gaurd to take you and your friend back to your seats

and you two enjoy the rest of the showcase

it's almost like you're front and center to jeno now

your eyes are glued to him for the remainder of it

at the end, after their outros, you clapped and cheered with the rest of the audience

jeno made eye contact with you before the lights went off and they exited the stage

one moment closer to seeing your soulmate again.
