breath of the wild is a fun game but it is also good to remember it was a reboot of the lore and a lot of things in it were like. not at all in the old games. so maybe do not add some of its characterization retroactively to older lore bc it doesnt even make sense sometimes

#saw a few posts by a perosn about the royal fmaily that i jsut dont mesh well w/ #like no the hcs r fine but ppl r linkign it to older game smainly oot #which! fair! do what u want! but also! that did not happen in oot #they never said zelda was decended forma goddess untill skyward sword which tbh i see as the start of the reboot #and no other zelda was forced into worship like botw zelda was #quite the oppsite actully? most zeldas did whatever the fuck they wanted #sure a LOT had sacred diuties and shit but that wasnt just for the girls ya know? #the royal fmaily in gneral has a shit ton of secrets and sacred duties to uphold those obligations and secerts #i think it links mroe back to their conenction w/ wisdom than it does w/ hylia #trix posts
