Bennett has always known he was an unlucky one. Sure, he received a pyro vision, something not everyone just simply gets, and he was happy too. Yet him being unlucky... well, all of Mondstadt knows how unlucky he is. As soon as he leaves his house, all luck leaves his body too.

Well, that's not quite right. Even in his home, he's unlucky- stumbling over nothing, hitting his toes against the table, and dropping everything that touches his hands.

But as if that hadn't been enough, his bad luck also influences a big part of his adventures. He never finds chests, and if he does, there is barely anything in them. The food he tries to cook over fire always burns or even falls into the flames. And then there is the matter of the monsters. They always sniff him out and attack him without pause. He then has to run, again stumbling over nothing and roots, he never sees, leaving him open for attacks.

Yet, somehow he escapes his death or worse injuries every time, most of the time thanks to the help of his friends.

He tries to stay positive, trying to not let his bad luck and misfortune wear him down, but it's hard. It's hard to keep smiling when he's left alone, without an adventure group. Fischl and Razor help, without doubt, but they can't always be by his side.

So, naturally, he notices when something is... different. He didn't fall the stairs down today, only stumbled for a hot second, and no monsters attacked him as soon as he left the safe walls of Mondstadt.

He's immediately on guard, more than usual, but nothing worse happens. It's weird, the day is calm, as if he's... lucky.

But he thinks nothing of it when he goes to sleep. He should've, since the same things happened the next day too.

And the next day too. And the following day, then another- until a week passes and Bennett is slowly losing his mind. He doesn't trust the sudden streak of luck and is waiting for another shoe to drop. But nothing happens, nothing besides him suddenly being more lucky.

He gets his answer, another week later. It's just a normal day, the sun shining down on him, a soft breeze playing with his hair- that is, until he stumbles over nothing again. This time for a good reason. Someone just spoke to him.

But there is no one here, he's all alone. Not to mention, he didn't recognize the voice, coming from someone unknown to him. Naturally, he's scared. Why shouldn't he be? Yet the voice continued to speak to him, talk to him, and guide him through Mondstadt without any misfortune hunting him.

It must be the voice's blessing, gifting him luck, or well, taking away his bad luck. He's thankful and very happy. Now he can go on many adventures with other people without hurting them!
