#i regret choosing humss or my school

Just an opinion. Although our school is famous for being a powerhouse for really smart and talented kids, I feel like it relies on the raw talent of the student rather than genuinely nurturing them or at least it's very selective with those it wants to nurture (which are usually the already exceptional kids). Which in turn is what makes it famous and gives it its reputation, and gets parents to enroll their talented kids in. It's not apparent bc well, sometimes, the only thing we qanna do is get the tf outta here lmao.
Rarely does it have qualified teachers that specialise in that particular subject, they just get who they can and teach to get it over with, training for comps are rarely formal, we have to sustain and improve ourselves on our own for said comps, then they get to claim all the credit "school that houses great future writers" or some shit. And then they give us the obviojs excuse of letting us be "independent" bc it "prepares us for college", how about let's do simulations first before the actual thing.
I also got one failed grade and one low grade bc of minor subjects. Now they're going to ruin my average. How am I supposed to compete to bigger, smarter students.
It's so tiring, I'm wasting so much time, I'm slowly burning out.
Our school can go burn down, with all my horrid classmates in it. Whatever prowess and prestige it had when I first enrolled here is nothing but rubble now that I'm almost leaving. Now go and watch them improve this trainwreck of a place after we leave :)
#the treatment of us and tvl vs abm and stem is just wow#the knowledge and teachings we get...i can get this from a google search i dont see what's so specialised ab it#and our section is mixed in with those who are lagging behind in hopes of us helping them are we babysitters??#i regret choosing humss or my school#it's such a pain to endure here#i get good grades but haha it could be better#im not really learning anything#i just know instead of these two years of k-12 helping me it's going to stump me when i get to college#haha how am i supposed to catch up to everybody else#i know neither the school or our adviser or half of our teachers give a shit#but lol this is the only chance i'll get to end my suffering pls give me better education...#also holy fuck our room is a literal sandstorm#stem gets the avr??#abm gets to keep their pristine room??#and when i vent ab it. everyone just talks ab how better they've got it sure?? is that supposed to make me feel better??#thanks for invalidating me ig there is no upside to this#ive been trying my hardest to endure and pretend like any of these minor inconveniences compounding together is okay to me.#when i complain ab grades like i just wanna get the highest like i think i dsserve from the effort i gave#im not undermining the one i got no way is it something to frown on but dont you think they can still give and compensate us thru this#from all the stupid shit we had to sit with#studying here is painful#i had to do this now every day#im honestlh considering if i should start skipping classes

myself
As a student at this school since Grade 11, I can say that I’ve learned a lot and that I’m excited to see what this school year has in store for me. l am a senior high school student at Misamis University in the HUMSS strand for Social Work. I was born on August. 3, 2005, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dubai is a city and emirate known for it’s tourist attractions, particularly the Burj Khalifa, a skyscraping structure. I spent 15 years in that country studying and exploring new places. I get along well with both of my parents. Like any other family, we have disagreements, but they are usually resolved quickly.
I’m the quiet type, who wasn’t a problem in the least. However, it leaves a bad first impression because it happened when I was in grades 7 and 8. I was seen as cold, intimidating, or in their words as “maldita daw ako.” It was surprising when we were reminiscing about our first impressions of each other because in reality, I was just nervous to connect with them. I didn’t know how to make the first move in introducing myself. I still find it amusing and try not to appear intimidating to others. I’m not threatening. It’s just that my facial expressions don’t match my emotions.
I can be a little ambitious, especially when it comes to deciding on a career because I have so many options. I grew up in an environment where I was expected to succeed. The majority of my family members work as engineers, architects, teachers, or in the medical field. As you can see, those are STEM-related fields. That is why, as I was choosing a strand, I was afraid I would disappoint them by not following in their footsteps. Fortunately, they were accepting of my decision and advised me not to regret and go for it.
As the saying goes, “Time is Gold.” Because we all have different perspectives in life, it can mean a variety of things. I interpret that phrase to “take your time and live your life to the fullest because we only have one life.” It is nice to simply exist in the present moment.

I noticed you talking about college courses and I just wanted to share my own experience in it and maybe it could be a learning experience to others too? Hopefully hahahaha.
I was a graduate from ABM (hey yess im filo too ehehe) but I originally wanted to be in HUMSS because I wanted to do BSP ever since I was little. It was my only dream and my hope because I know it would be a job that I will truly enjoy. But unfortunately, my university was quite demanding. They forcefully put me in ABM because of my high grades in maths and I have no other choice but to take it because my parents wanted me to be in this "prestigious uni". So I endured 2 years of studying under the course that I do not like at all. It. was very hard, because I'm not even a person who likes business and maths and complicated calculations of assets and expenses.
Then fortunately, I had graduate from that hell two years ago. It was a relief to me. But then again, that was the start of real hell. Since I'm an ABM graduate, I dont know what to do anymore. I can't take my dream job anymore because I was in a different path now. I was truly lost at what to do with my life because I have NO PLANS about my future now that my only dream has been crushed. I tried going for BSP actually, but my parents protested that I will waste my 2 years of studying business if I will just take...what I want. I was a coward, because I didn't fight for what I want at all and I still regret that to this very day.
Moving forward, I blinding sign up to BSAーsince my Mom was an accountant and she wanted me to be...idk like her probably. This is were the suffering truly start. Studying something that I do not like at all was so damn hard. It was like torture. I wanted to cry every night I was bombarded with tons and tons of homeworks and its even getting harder because were at online classes.
I was entering my third year this school year, and thankfully, I was still...hanging on I supossed 💪😂 but what I wanted to point out is...um, DO NOT BE LIKE ME.
Pick out a course that YOU LOVED, that YOU WANTED, that YOU ENJOY, that YOU WOULD SEE YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE. Do not be like me who becomes a coward under the pressure of their parents lol. It was your life to decide, it was you who should decide for your future, not your parents or anyone. This is something I had learned in the hard way and I was still regretting that I didnt stand up for what I want before. But freshies who would enter uni for the first time COULD STILL DO IT.
Don't be pressured. Its alright to be unsure for now, but dont let it become to the point others will use that uncertainty to pick FOR your sake. Pick whatever you think you truly wanted and loved, not what others want and love for you :>
This become too long I hope I wasnt being rude 💦💦
YES TO ALL OF THIS!!! thank you for taking the time to write out your experience for others!
When your parents said they didn't want you to "waste your 2 years of ABM in SHS", I understood that, but at the same time (this is for the high schoolers out there) don't let your senior high strand dictate your college life! I'm a STEM graduate but I took a BS Interior Design course at a fine arts college. They were both my choices because I enjoy sciences and the arts! The adjustment period may be tricky, but you'll get the hang of it. If you have a different decision for college, don't be afraid to make the switch! :>
I have blockmates who don't even like drawing or design but almost every subject and project we have is related to it. You're going to exhaust yourself doing something you hate. And if you have difficult parents, don't be afraid to take this little leap and talk it out with them seriously. I know it's easier said than done but it's better to try!
Overall advice for those choosing their college is to do what you want :) and if you're feeling indecisive... well, don't go with something you hate!

A LIFE OF A HUMSS STUDENT
Tumblr media
In the strand of Humanities and Social Sciences, speaking is really important. You should know your stand, and you should always be ready for impromptu speeches because there will be a lot of activities where you will use your voice and your ability to write speeches in a short period of time. In my case, it wasn't hard, but it wasn't easy either. I love speaking, but I stutter. I am still working on speaking confidently. I can write everything on my mind, but when it's time to deliver it verbally, I feel limited. Sometimes I do well, but there are times I do not. Which is normal because in this strand, there is room for improvement. That's why we tackle revision here: to know where we made a mistake and change it accordingly.
But I must say that I am very lucky. Because I am studying what I love. I love what I am doing. Writing essays, observing opinions, delivering speeches—all of it. As a senior in high school, it is important to choose the strand you like. Because you will only suffer if you don't like your strand, doing the things you like makes things easier.
It is also important to have peers you can relay to who can ease the day when you are not feeling well. They would annoy you sometimes, but they could be a big help, at least for me. Enjoy your senior year of high school! Do the things you like to the fullest; you will not regret every minute of it.

WHY INCOMING SHS MUST CHOOSE YOUR TRACK?
Every student in senior high school should make a right decision to choose the track or strand that suits for them such as Academic, Technical Vocational Livelihood, ABM, HUMSS, and STEM.

Why HUMSS is the best track to choose in Senior High School.
Tumblr media
It’s a given that there are many strands that are diverse. There are several strands to choose from that offer many subjects that will strengthen the skills of every student in the field they wish to take up. But, out of all the strands, why is the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand the best of the best out of all the strands?
It’s simple. First and foremost, the HUMSS strand is focused on the art of social sciences. In any, and I mean any work field that you decide to take up, social sciences will always be involved. Whether you become a doctor or an engineer, engaging with other people will be one of the main factors that will bring you your success. The way you handle situations that involve other people is essential to your growth and development as a person.
Second, HUMSS teaches you the basics of education. Everything you need to know is taught in HUMSS. Almost all the subjects present in the HUMSS strand can be availed in other strands as well. Therefore, it is not that big of a problem to take HUMSS when you are planning to take a course in college that isn’t really related to the given courses offered when you take HUMSS in senior high school.
Lastly, HUMSS will work wonders for you if you are more on the linguistic side and less on the mathematical side. We all have our specialties in different fields of academics, sure. So, if your specialty is writing essays, then HUMSS is for you. If you prefer to read a book about philosophy and make a book report about it, rather than solve a bunch of math problems, then this track is your best option.
All in all, the choice is still up to you. Take my words with a grain of salt. But, as much as possible, take these words into consideration. As a HUMSS student, I personally do not regret my choice and I am happy with it. You should be, too.

Hi I am Jabez Kyle Broqueza
Grade 12 HUMSS B
Tumblr media
One of the great impact of my life is to be one of HUMSS students, to be honest I can’t imagine that it was hard to be one. The lessons are not as easy as I thought. I think that learning is a continual stage. With all the pressure I experience as a student, I don’t felt any discouragement. Even sometimes difficult I really have to be positive, cause I know it's very important to because I want to become a lawyer someday, for me all knowledge from Humms use to lawyer course.
HUMSS is not about your dream is all about on how to achieve and complete.Humanities and Social Sciences strand or simply known as HUMSS, the course I chose and which I was destined. Being one of the humanities is a great experience, I learned a lot of things and I learn more about myself.
Lastly, HUMSS is fun and challenging. In this strand it helps me to be what I am and teaches me to be a good and knowledgeable person. Well, I don’t force someone to be in this course. But, I encourage everyone to trust in God and be positive always.
Many people say that if you want to become useful in the future, go for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand in senior high school. HUMMS; THE FOUNDATION OF TOMMOROW
EDUCATION IN THE PHILIPPINES
Tumblr media
We all know that education is the most important tool towards the future. The 21st century is the generation of new discoveries and learning. These new discoveries lead us to new ways of living. As youths we have the responsibility to improve the future of our country. Just like Dr. Jose Rizal said “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan”.
Here in the Philippines, education is being ruled under the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION or DEPED. Policies and ways have been made to secure the learning of the Filipino students specially during the COVID19 pandemic.
Education in the Philippines is offered through the K-12 program. The ‘K’ stands for kindergarten and the ‘12’ stands for 12 years of education with the college years not added. That is kindergarten (1 year). Elementary education 1-6 (6 years). Secondary education; Junior High school (JHS) 7-10  (4 years) and Senior High school (SHS) 11-12 (2 years). Performance on the 6 years of secondary education will determine a student’s capabilities to take college.
SENIOR HIGHSCHOOL
Tumblr media
To be able to pursue college, students must be able to finish the  K-12  program equivalent to 13-14 years and  up of   education.  Students must be able to   take   the additional 2 years of education on Senior high school (SHS) grades 11-12 under their specialized strand on the specific track they choose. This strand will gradually determine the careers that students will pursue in the future. This just means that this strands are responsible  for  the  courses  that students will be taking in college.
Tumblr media
Students in senior high school have four track choices; Academic, sports, technical vocational livelihood, and arts and design. The Academic track have four strands; STEM, HUMSS, GAS, and ABM. Each strand has its own specialization and set of challenges.
HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (HUMSS)
Tumblr media
HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES or HUMSS focuses on the study of human behavior and interaction in social, cultural, environmental, economic and political contexts.
Subjects taught in the Humanities and Social Sciences covers the range of researching, analyzing, calculating, evaluating, practicing, investigating, questioning, and communicating.
Learning with HUMSS students learn more about the society; how they function socially, culturally, economically and politically. Students examine situations or issues that bring our change in many ways.
Tumblr media
The HUMSS strand is designed for those who wonder what is outside of the box. Taking HUMSS, you are expected to take on the world, learn new things, and improve social capabilities. This Strand is for those like me who wanted to improve their communication skills, improve writing skills, express oneself in a better way, improve thinking capabilities, and take on the world for the better future.
Yes, it might be true that this strand is less math and less numbers. But that doesn’t mean it’s easier than the other strands. Honesty, before taking senior high school I decided that I would take HUMSS because I thought that it has less math and that it is easier than the other strands. But, that’s far from what I am about to learn. HUMSS does not differ in terms of the level difficulty with the other strands. Each strand has its own specialization but it doesn’t differ in terms of difficulty.
This strand is specialized for those who will be taking academic careers in the future. For example, teachers, lawyer, psychologist, writer, social worker, journalist, or maybe a reporter someday, church workers, private tutor and more.
 WHY I CHOOSE HUMSS
Tumblr media
There are many reason why I choose HUMSS. Honestly, one of those reasons was because I have no choice at all. My family wasn’t that rich. My parents earn a simple amount of money that is only enough for our daily expenses. My real plan was taking Technical vocational livelihood. That strand wasn’t available here in Tingloy Senior High school.  Taking other schools from the city means spending huge amounts of money. It was too expensive. So, the only choice I have is to study here in Tingloy Senior High school on a different strand. Because this school is public, we won’t be spending huge amount of money for my education. It’s a lot cheaper because I don’t have to spend huge amount of money for the house, food, water, electricity and other expenses. Most of it are free so I choose HUMSS and studied here in TSHS. I never regretted that choice. Studying here is the best experience I ever have. Here are the reasons choose HUMSS and why I think it’s the best strand for me.
ENHANCES STUDENT SKILLS
Tumblr media
HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES develop my skills to think critically. There are many practices and skills taught in HUMSS that help a student improve his or her critical thinking. One of these are writing many THESES studies in different aspects.
There are many subjects and lots activities in this strand that helps a student communicate effectively. Proper use of words and grammar, presenting different ways to communicate (writing, speech, and etc.)
This strand helps a student learn on how to handle different situations, scenarios or issues. Teaches different knowledge about politics and many more.
 BEING A TEACHER
Tumblr media
I choose this strand because I really want to be an English teacher. Humanities and Social Sciences is the strand made specially for those who wanted to become a teacher in the future.  I choose this career not just because it’s the only choice I have, but because I wanted to prove to everyone that our name ROSALES can do something far more than what others say about us. I want for people to someday say our name with respect. I want people to someday see the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rosales’s as a successful and independent woman who supports all her family’s needs. I want to prove to those people that the ROSALES and SALAZAR clan are not dumb losers like what they said we are. I want to someday walk with confidence while wearing nice clothes. I want people to look up on my family. I want to bring honor to my parents. I think HUMSS can shape me to the person I want to be in the future. HUMSS can help me get the future I desperately wanted.
  MANY OPPORTUNITIES
Tumblr media
HUMSS offers many careers in the future. If ever I had a big turn of events and decided not to follow the career that I wish to pursue, I can always have a second choice. There are many careers that HUMSS offer. Not just being a teacher, I can also be a psychologist if I want to, or maybe a social worker, or perhaps even lawyer.  There are many opportunities on this strand. That is one of the reason why I choose it.
 FRIENDSHIP
Tumblr media
HUMSS is not always about learning and staying up all night just so you can comply on a subject. HUMSS is also about meeting new people and making new friendships. It’s not always about grades and scores on test, or theses. It’s about the fun time we had with our friends. Times were we laugh on stupid things and make bad decisions that made us question our states of mind. Strangers that turned into best friends is the best part of learning in school.
 PRECIOUS MEMORIES
Tumblr media
Those fun times we had with our friends and teachers can never be replaced. Precious memories that we or I will remember for the rest of my life. I remember back then, during our science class we had a dissecting activity but before that we had to pick the frogs ourselves from the playground. One by one we pick up the frogs and it was so fun. Everyone was shouting and screaming from fear, specially the girls. Those times were so precious. The time we cry, laugh, scream, all of those memories are so precious. Memories on my school years with HUMSS that I can never forget.
THERE IS A BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD OF US

PLANNING FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL?
HUMSS GOT YOU.
We all know that choosing a career in the future is a really hard decision to make. We need to perform self-assessments, identify our skills including our strengths and weaknesses, explore our choices and possible opportunities in the future, know what really makes us happy, and most specially, knowing our capability to provide for our education. All of these must be assessed well. We need to make our plan, know it step by step, because that plan will lead us to future success.
Planning for Senior High School is hard. Choosing a strand that fits our skills is a really tough choice to make. There are four tracks in senior high school, that includes; Academic track, Technical Vocational Livelihood track, Sports track, and Arts and Design track. The Academic track have four strands; HUMSS, STEM, GAS, and ABM. Each of this strands are specialized in different ways. They are made for students who have different skills and have different paths in the future. I am here to explain why you should choose HUMSS.
WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE HUMSS?
Here are the reasons why I think HUMSS is the best strand for you.
IMPROVES STUDENTS SKILLS
Humanities and Social Sciences or HUMSS improves student’s skills that are essential for the future. Yes, HUMSS have less math than the other strands, but that doesn’t differ in some ways. Just like the other strands, HUMSS also highlights subjects like science, English and of course mathematics. HUMSS teaches students proper ways to read and write that includes techniques on how to use words on different languages properly, most specially when using our universal language, English. How to speak properly, and also how to HUMSS also teaches students mathematics. Just like other strands, mathematics is also specialized in this strand.
NEW KNOWLEDGE
HUMSS also helps you a lot to understand others through their cultures and histories. You have a chance to know everything to the future because they will spend more time looking at the past and learn more about success of humanity since the beginning of the time.
CAREER CHOICE
This track helps you to prepare yourself for the subject specialization of the college course you will take in the future. Even if you are graduated in SHS that your track is HUMSS. It will help you to choose the work you wanted in the future.
HUMSS is the way to achieve our wants, It'll help us know what are we 're going to do after SHS. Because of this track,I know what I'm going to choose and know what I must do.
MANY OPPORTUNITIES
Pursuing college is not the only reason why you should take Senior Highschool. HUMSS offers many opportunities after SHS. There are many jobs you can get with your SHS graduation certificate. You can be an assistant writer, or perhaps you can work on libraries, Tour guide, Instructor and many more.
For students like me who does not have the sufficient amount of money to pay for college. Being a HUMSS graduate, I can get a great job on work institutions who accepts SHS graduates. After senior high school, I won't be able to pursue college anymore. So, I will already be working. I'll be a worker in one of the biggest malls in Batangas City. Thanks to HUMSS I already have an advanced job that I can profit money to after SHS.
NEW EXPERIENCES
HUMSS offers a lot of challenges that you must overcome in order to move forward. Speeches that are incredibly hard to perform in front of your teachers, Direct presentations like Role playing, On the spot reportings and building 3D arts. Those challenges strengthen our skills to act on many situations. New experiences that will prepare us for the future. It's hard but it's worth it.
FRIENDSHIP
I will never forget those experieces that I have made during SHS, beacause there are many memories tha we have made together that will remeber or I will take for the rest of my life. There will be times that you'll be wanting to give up, but in the end you'll still choose to not to. You'll still keep on fighting. Even if you're tired, even if its so hard. Still, you will keep on fighting because you have a dream, you have a goal to achieve. That time of class when you have to open your eyes And ears just to know what they were doing and to understand what they're saying. When it comes to friends, They were the one your with, with all the silly stuff but doesn't forget the importance of education. In HUMSS we learn the importance of education, the things that we must do in order to avoid regrets in the future.

Why the incoming SHS must choose my track?
Hello! My name is Catherine Boma, a student of San Jose National High School, I am here today to deliver a message on why you should choose HUMSS as your strand for you upcoming senior high school year. Or a short but meaningful blog on why i chose this strand. The strand HUMSS that specifically stands for Humanities and Social Sciences. It’s a strand focused on literature, politics, religion and social sciences. It helps improve student’s reading, writing, speaking and social skills, and the skills this strand is trying to develop are critically needed for students who want to take up journalism, education, and other social science-related courses in college. And it is not an easy strand like everybody thinks. Yes, you may not have to face formulas, numbers, and chemicals that the other strand tackles about but you will deal with a lot of reading and comprehension. And this strand is just as challenging as the others but if your passion is related in the subjects offered in HUMSS, it’s guaranteed that you will enjoy and learn a lot in this strand.
But now let us g back to the main question, why should you choose the strand HUMSS?
My future job is actually to become a future flight attendant, and my family and friends had asked me why did I choose that strand if my course in college is tourism? Some said I should have chosen the strand ABM or TECHVOC, but i dont really see myself growing under those strand. In addition, it also focuses on Religion and belief systems, take up for example if I’ll meet a Muslim or Daoist and other religion on the cabin or during flight. Since I’ve taken up HUMSS, I will have enough knowledge on that person and what his/her beliefs are. And if ever the situation forces me to talk to him/her, I will not offend him/her and his/her beliefs and traditions. Also, communicating is a must if your job requires interacting on a daily basis. That’s why up to now, I don’t have regrets choosing HUMSS because this will strand will serve as a stepping stone for me and for the things I want to achieve. Another addition as to why I chose HUMSS because this track will help me enhance not only my ability to talk in front of many people but also my self-confidence and my ability to connect and communicate with my audience.
So as a Senior High student, I encourage you to choose this strand HUMSS for better communicating skills, and even develop your vocabulary for you will need those in the future. You’ll also enhance your knowledge about social science and other more. In Addition to my experience, the pressure of the other strand doesn’t sit well with me so that is also the reason why i chose this strand. but then memorization, lots of paper works and reporting may sound hard and stressful but I think it will be a great way for me to practice my skills. Memorizing is not actually an issue to me anymore, because I’ve been memorizing piece after piece since I was in elementary school. So if you’re having a hard time with memorizing, my only advice is for you to practice now and I swear you wont have a single regret when college comes. You’ll be prepared and ready for what college has to offer.
This has been Cat, thank you for taking your time in reading this short blog of mine, I sincerely hope this would somehow help you in choosing your academic strand in your upcoming School year. Thank you! ♡
This is solely for my schoolwork!

Journal Entry #4
As we grow up, we realize some things that needs to be changed or improve. Being a better or let’s say ‘responsible’ adolescence requires hard-work and understanding to situations that are new to us. As days passes by our responsibilities are also getting bigger and harder. There are some rules about being a responsible adolescent that I learned from our lesson that I reflected to myself and thought about it even before.
Firstly, it was stated that we should focus on our studies as well as follow our endeavors. As a child before, I always dreamt of having a decent job just like my parents, having a stable life and can travel anywhere I want. I really don’t mind studying before but as I grow older I noticed that I am about to  enter the real world, no more playing with my classmates at the school playground instead we are faced in a more challenging situation. I learned from this rule that we should not rush things and do the things we want for not all of our wants are right. Next is the ‘health and hygiene’, we are growing older and we tend to learn the things that are right or wrong. I learned that we should first take care of our own health before taking care of others.
Next, we are still in our stage where we are still learning so we need our parent’s guidance and attention especially today that we are in the amidst of pandemic. We should listen to them for they already passed this stage and already knew what to do. Then, we should avoid doing impulsive decision because it may affect the outcome of our doing. We should learn to think thoroughly before making a tough decision for you not to regret it when the day comes. Choose the right thing even though it’s hard, sometimes we need to sacrifice to have a peaceful life in the end of the line. Temptations are everywhere that’s why we need to discipline ourselves to avoid doing bad stuffs that might affect our future.
Lastly, we should learn to respect ourselves. Learn to take care of ourselves first, love yourself first and don’t lie to yourself.

Humanista in Mapua?
Tumblr media
(photos are all mine)
Mapua University is prominent due to the reason that it produces great engineers that will surely top the board exams.
A lot of people questioned me, “Why in Mapua?”, “Are you lost?” and “Are you really sure in your decision?”. The fact that they questioned me, makes me questioned myself more. Am I on the right school?  Does the path I took will make me happy? Should I shift since the STEM strand in here is their forte?
Tumblr media
At first, I don’t really know why. I just follow what my heart desire. As time goes by, my perception rapidly changed. I realized that I never regret anything. Moreover, the genuine happiness I feel right now is even indescribable.
As a HUMSS student, we are mold to think critically in various ways. But in here, there is so much more. They taught us things that can only be taught in other strand which is beneficial when we took entrance exams on the near future.
Tumblr media
The system continuously educating us to have a brave heart that accepts failure and shortcomings. Therefore, studying Humanities and Social Sciences is already something to be proud of that will make us stand out among others.
I hope you choose what makes you happy. Always trust your decisions because in doing so, you will be successful.
