#sticking a piece of bamboo in my mouth is already a sensory nightmare #but then having to move it back and forth??? literal hell #last time i used a bamboo toothbrush my cheeks started bleeding from the bamboo rubbing against them and it took them days to heal #i read a post online from someone who got a BAMBOO SPLINTER STUCK IN THEIR TONSILS from their toothbrush and needed to take antibiotics #literally the WORST Sustainable Product Swap #like if you want to compost it you have to break the head off bc the bristles are still nylon #in terms of plastic usage toothbrushes really do not contribute that much even at the individual level
