21 thru 27 for the music asks
holy shit man. thank you. okay
21. how do live performances, whether they’re from your friends or professionals, tend to make you feel?
realllly depends. I'm not wild about recordings of live performances generally they don't really appeal to me HOWEVER there are many "live" shows im glad to have seen recorded. I'm also not crazy about live music in a stadium, theater, or concert hall setting, but I appreciate it! that said; live music at dances >>>>
22. singing in the shower or singing in the car?
In the car..............always. I have to have music on while im driving or else I start kicking and punching at the wheel like a mad ape and I can't listen to music without singing. its fun though if I play joni mitchell or lead belly my stepmom and dad will sing along too :-)
23. if you were to become a musician, what kind of musician would you be?
probably a bluegrass fiddler. not because its my dream or whatever just because of job opportunity reasons thouugh I think being in a rock band would be really cool. maybe a banjo player a la the eagles
24. if you could pick one instrument to learn how to play, what would it be?
I'm actually learning the banjo currently which has always been a dream instrument so I feel like. that
25. what is your singing voice like? what singers do you remind yourself of?
this is such a hard question for me to answer. um. am I allowed to say john prine
26. have you ever been involved in any music programs? which ones and for how long?
I can't name names without doxxing myself but I've participated in school orchestra since 8th grade and school band from 4th-8th grade! I've also gone to some bluegrass music festival camps geared at kids 7-16 and played a couple gigs with my parents' respective groups
27. which instruments do you know how to play? what’s your skill level?
I play fiddle, mandolin, flute, piano, and banjo. despite my playing the violin for 10+ years now, I would classify myself as a "beginner." :-)
