To this day i have no idea why mid-breakdown-julia decided she HAD to learn how to cross stitch junior year of college but thank god she did. Such a good gateway drug into fiber arts

#its just so accessible. xstitch kits r cheap and have everything u need inside to start #and from there its so easy to expand into embroidery and then sewing #i knew literally no one who xstitched. truly no idea why i picked it #i just knew i had no creative outlet and it was a little bit killing me #xstitch/embroidery is so mobile too. good for planes! good for downtime at work! u just need ur lil hoop. #and if ur working on aida u dont even really need that #anyways. love letter to fiber arts and 21 year old me for picking this
