JAIL BAIT. Kreese and Terry probably made sneering comments over glasses of whiskey and then silently to themselves: unless-
I don't like Cheyenne but bless the writers for making it canon that Terry doesn't mind a big age difference... between a DANIEL CLONE...
The writers made Sugar Silver canon, so bless them for that. I mean, this outfit in particular, the hair, the glasses—it just screams Sugar Daddy.

And of course you're not married Cheyenne, your name isn't Daniel! DUH.
(Btw, God bless the costuming department, this is one of my favorite Terry lewks.)
...Anyway, Cheyenne was less of a character and more of an (easily disposed) vehicle for Terry. Because not only did we see how little-value she actually had in Terry’s eyes, but through her we also saw how he was incapable of forming deep relationships with people unless they were a chosen few (and even then, there's Red Flags Everywhere)—but again, with thanks to her, we also got to see that Terry does not mind an age difference (very much the quintessential filthy-rich older man stereotype), and also apparently, that he has a thing for much shorter, tanned brunettes with dark eyes.
Hmm, I wonder who else fits that description...
Back to the Jail Bait issue (or lack thereof)—
Terry and John (losers) definitely shared a pint or two and belittled the kid. (“It was just a stroke of luck that the scrawny little shit beat Lawrence!), and, ("His Sensei —scoffs—probably used some Asiastic trick to get that little brat a trophy, wouldn't put it past him—")...to, ("C'mon, I could wrap both my hands around his waist and they'd overlap!"), and also, "(He wouldn't pass the Basic Training I did for 'Nam. The kid's gotta be what, ninety pounds soaking wet he's such a small little shit...").
The conversation gravitates increasingly towards Daniel's appearance, though without the sneers and snark. The drinks help loosen their tongues.
“Well...he’s a senior now,” John mentions offhandedly, a narrow figure, floppy hair, and big dark eyes flashing across his thoughts. Fuck, how deep in his cups is he?
Terry nods, his eyes glazed over from the brandy and dangerous thoughts. (Thots?) "Eighteen, soon enough. His birthday is in December." He had acquired Daniel's personal information, and then some, if only to break the boy down even more thoroughly. Not for any other reasons. Really.
They both clear their throats, avoiding the others' gaze.
“Yeah...”
“Yeah...”
Later on, one in his black BMW, the other in his pick-up that had seen better days, the same thought runs through their minds as they drive back to their respective homes.
Seventeen, huh?
Well, he soon enough won’t be...

BEING THE GRANDCHILD OF Terry Silver had many pros and cons in your life. People would always assume you had it all with the wealth that was inherited by your family but, little did they know, your family was utterly broken.
You loved your parents, but they weren't necessarily the most reliable, so that's why you spent a majority of your time with your grandpa instead. Which leads you here today, in the Cobra Kai dojo with Terry Silver.
When you walked in, you felt all eyes burrowing deep into your skull and your face flushed from all of the attention. Terry stood beside Kreese, making you stand there alone, awkwardly shifting in your feet.
But a certain pair of eyes, in particular, made you turn your vision towards the person, and you were met with a boy around your age. His blonde hair was structured perfectly and his emerald green eyes made your heart skip a beat.
"Can I help you?" The boy spoke up, gradually walking closer to you.
"Yeah, I'm here with my grandpa." You pointed your finger towards Terry and the boy turned around and nodded his head lightly. You noticed how he was silently judging you as he was looking at you up and down and this certainly didn't go unnoticed by you.
"What was that look for?" You asked, annoyance starting to peak through your skin. Robby simply shrugged his shoulders and he walked away, leaving you standing in the doorway with an incredulous look plastered onto your face.
That was simply the start of the rivalry between you and Robby. You would visit the dojo with your grandpa, not wanting to disappoint him and wanting to be there for him, but it almost became intolerable when you would practice with Robby as he would criticize your every move when sparring.
A little too much or this or a little too much of that. Robby would not give you a break. Even though you were amazing with your karate since Terry taught you as a kid, Robby somehow was better. Perhaps it was his defense from Miyagi-Do, but you would do anything to beat him any day.
"Focus on your stance and not your power or else you're just going to punch the air," Robby said, trying to patronize you. He held out his hand for you to take, but you simply swatted it away, getting up on your own.
"Whatever, Keene." When you stood up on your feet, you felt someone wrap their arms around your shoulders, making you glare at the person. Kyler had a smug look on his face and you instantly shrugged off his arms.
When you walked away from Kyler, you turned your vision to see Robby talking to him, Kyler's facial expressions looking like he was petrified. You perked your ears, trying to eavesdrop on the conversation, but Robby walked away with a growl before you could engage.
Furrowing your eyebrows in confusion, you glanced back at Robby whose tough and angry demeanor was suddenly demolished of you. You wanted to ask him what was wrong, but you also tried not to care, even though you really did.

The tournament finally came around and you were fighting your opponent, beating them easily. The ref put your hand up in the air and you smiled proudly at your sensei's until your eyes wandered towards Robby, who was staring at you intently with an unreadable expression on his face.
When you got back down on the mat, you stood next to Robby and took in deep breaths to ease the adrenaline after your round. But when you felt Robby's hot breath against your ear, it sent shivers down your spine erratically.
"After this is over, I really need to talk to you," Robby said, before getting on the mat so he can fight his opponent. Your mind was wandering with questions, not sure what he would want to talk to you about.
Robby's round ended quickly and when he went down back to your side, he was about to pull you into the locker room so the two of you can talk, but that was quickly interrupted when you found out you had to fight Robby so they can even out the draw.
At first, you were nervous, not even sure why, but when you got on the mat, you saw that Robby gave you a subtle wink, knowing he was trying to keep you distracted, so you thought you decided to mess around a little bit as well.
"Face me, face each other," the ref said. You complied, as did Robby, the two of you bowing.
"Maybe something can happen in the locker room after this round," you said, in a flirty and seductive voice. This instantly caught Robby off guard and when the ref said to fight, you gained a point almost instantly as you hit him in the ribs.
Now it was Robby's turn to mess with you. He knew what you were doing and he smirked in amusement.
"I think you'll look hotter with the gi on the mat instead." That did it for you. You were instantly caught off guard and Robby got you good when he kicked you in the stomach.
Your eyes widened, a small scoff escaping your lips as you fought with the man who you seemed to despise. However, there was this part inside of you that seemed intrigued by him.
The round went on for a while and eventually, Robby did beat you. Typically you would be angry, but this time, you didn't mind it at all, the only thing on your mind was Robby.
The two of you got off the mats and Robby gently grabbed your wrist, dragging you into the locker room so the two of you could talk in private.
"Y/n, so I wanted to talk about us," Robby started. Your heart was palpitating faster by the second and you were eagerly waiting for what he had to say.
"I wanted you to know, that I have feelings for you, Y/n. It's not just that, but I've admired you ever since you walked through that door of the dojo. I know you might not feel the same but-"
You cut off Robby by giving him a kiss on the lips. He stood frozen for a second before placing his hands on your waist, pulling you closer to his body to deepen the kiss.
With all of the confusing emotions in your head, you finally figured out that you didn't hate Robby, no, it was the opposite really. When you pulled away, you stared into Robby's eyes, until he pecked your nose gently, earning a small laugh from you.
"I like you too, Robby."
The smile on his face widened even more and he embraced you in a hug completely ignoring the sweat that was on both your bodies. When the two of you pulled away from the hug, Robby having a sly smirk on his face.
"So you know what we said during the tournament earlier? You want to try that out now?" You laughed lightly, but when you turned to Robby, his face was all too serious.
"We need to get back before our sensei's suspect something." Before you could leave the locker room, a hand gripped your wrist and turned you around swiftly. You were suddenly connected with Robby's arms, him barricading you against the wall.
"They can wait," Robby said, him kissing your lips again. Who would've known the boy you despised, actually turned into the person that would make you the happiest you've ever been?
