#i just got a copy of flash/impulse:runs in the family

Genuinely I don't think any comic has had a supporting cast I've cared about even half as much as i cared about the supporting caste of Impulse.

Each and every character is well written and multi-faceted. Everyone feels like their own person and their lives always seem to continue with or without Bart's presence (for example Preston and his mom's relationship evolves throughout the story even though Bart never really interacts with her again) so much so that even an issue where Bart or Max are only minor appearances would thoroughly entertained me.

I don't think there is a single character in Impulse I am completely neutral about every single one had at least one stand out moment that stuck with me and it's a damn shame we'll probably never see them again
