I don’t know a lot about video games so my headcanons are limited here, but I do think that after Point of Salvation Jacob gets Ezekiel into Myst by telling him how hard it is

...and then Cassandra gets pulled in by her own competitive instinct, and they’re all comparing progress on the puzzles and how long each one took them

(and Eve just has to endure the nerd-fest because she does not care about puzzles.)
