oh, some more newsies uk notes, from a disabled person and someone who grew up without parents:

crutchie/matthew’s voice breaks and he totally loses steam on the “watch me stand / watch me run” line in santa fe (prologue).

when les says, “doesn’t everyone?” in response to jack’s “you got folks?”, jack/michael does this barely-perceptible wince.

and both are such honest and real details that absolutely killed me <3
