#ive noticed that everyone has this very romantic notion of what the zones must be like #and im not saying that interpretation is wrong or bad or anything bc danger days #provides this like. delicious form of escapism #but also like i have this disease where i look at smth with miserable context and go #they cant possibly be enjoying this #like in my au the whole roadtrip thing is bc theyre realizing they cant raise the girl in the zones #not just bc of bl/ind but bc like. ppl deserve better than to #fear for their life every day and eat canned dog food yk? #i feel like. the zonerunner lifestyle is supposed to be the other end of an extreme yk? #the wild colourful life or death foil to batt city #and the ideal world is this place witjout capitalism and this big brother state where people are free to be Human and #have their needs met #like i dont think the zonerunner life was meant to be seen as enjoyable but then again I'm also #an enjoyer of angst and misery so #still if theyre eating dog food i dont think its as good as wed like #chattering
