only thing im really taking from the volcanion movie is that heracross fucking died

#volcanion blew it up and it never appeared in the movie again so im taking that as a death #anyways that sure was a pokemon movie that existed and was pretty okay #feel like itd have been a bit more engaging if volcanion or magearna actually did die (sorry dante 3 fakeout deaths is a bit much for me) #i kinda love how blatantly not canon this movie is #i feel like i know why tho bc tonally this movie is different from xyz and methinks someone got pissed about that #ash greninja isnt there for too long and ash gets a lot of slapstick and team rocket is actually not annoying and has heart in this movie #all things the usual team really fucking hated at that point #so it wouldnt shock me if they made this explicitly noncanon as a middle finger to execs or something (since i believe its mostly the same #writers) #i mean im not completely mad abt that bc i do sorta like 100% zygarde more in the main series (and magearna) sooo #echoed voice #pokeani lb
