im abandoning reading books to learn for fun, im gonna read some self-help shit about emotions every time one of my parents does something

#personal #i dread speaking to my mom so often and it really feels like im spinning a wheel to get maybe 4 diff mostly negative reactions #regardless of what i do #she went from lecturing me to which i cut her off to say 'i know about x' in the most steady way i could muster and she still #had her anger level burst and go 'DONT get an attitude with me!!' and clearly getting angrier. for some reason #it feels like a video game where i have to watch to make sure her anger doesnt go thru the roof and i lose #its like im some worker getting screamed at for an unrelated thing. i feel so exhausted too im like is this really what im getting fucking. #yelled at into submission for... saying 'yes i know about x' when shes not even sure what she's talking about
