i have a problem that renders it impossible for me to finish or even attempt to write my lilith/roz fic which i did not previously forsee: the frasier script writing is actually funny. i, having been trained on a diet of online memes and references, am decidedly not

#this is also why i never really read hannibal fics - if you didn't get fullers lyrical dialogue then i couldn't f/w it #i just cannot read frasier fic that isn't witty like the show it feels ooc for them to not make a layered snide remark every second line #part of the appeal is the sitcom structure that bookends with emotional moments - the anticipation a la niles and daphne #i dont think that translates terribly well to the formatting of pairing fics- not to put a restraint on what fanfics can look like however
