star trek generations is good and is the finale tng deserved (especially over all good things jesus christ). they should have just left the series there. this is proven with first contact because that movie is fucking boring and the writers do not care about the consequences of the actions in generations.

#i lost interest within the first 25 minutes <3 #i dont care about the borg tbh like its a cool concept for a species but ive never really cared abt sci-fi war #first contact has PROBLEMS regardless #like data can just turn off his emotion chip. you showed him struggling with it so much in the first movie #and made it a tool for his character development and yet you give it an off switch #doesnt that defeat the entire point of the chip itself #AND they made a big deal about the chip being fused into his circuitry in the first film -___- #why can he turn it off now that makes no sense. #it was funny to see troi drunk tho #ok but generations is fucking INSANE like dont even get me started #seeing picard actively grieve on screen #SEEING DATA HAVING THOUGHTS OF SUICIDE. 😐 #like yeah its not a perfect movie. geordi gets shafted like hell and also tortured on screen like what the fuck else is new :/ #anyways i am so drunk i love star trek i hate star trek I HATE RICK BERMAN. #cj chatters
