seeing the chernobyl fanfiction ask i got last month on my dash again and while i have never and will never write chernobyl fanfiction i feel like i might as well confess that i used to play littlest pet shop nuclear fallout disaster rp as a kid (nobody lives/everybody dies, graphic descriptions of radiation poisoning) so like anon wasn't that far off i guess

#🐉 #i did it to cope with my childhood phobia of radiation (to the point that i wigged out if there were bananas in the house because i read #that they contained a small trace of radiation and thought i was going to die of radiation poisoning from banana proximity) #(i had some problems and issues okay. mostly exacerbated by my mom telling me that microwaves and mobile phones would cook my brain and #give me turbo cancer if i stood too near them because she fell down the alternative health conspiracy theory rabbithole HARD) #but also because i was like. fascinated by the horrors. #and then i grew up and lost my phobia but kept the hyperfixation #ANYWAYS
