a great titan comes to HelmedSeared, seeking destruction and mayhem. it killed many of our beasts as well as many poets that were caught outside our gates, but one of our hunters who came to our fortress with a corssbow and bolts of steel managed to injure the beast before it took his life, and when the dwarven caravan came we opened our gates, though too late for the wagons.

The fortress guard fought with the beast

and only one of our brave soldiers was injured, his left hip horrifically mauled. he was brought safely back to our hospital where he was treated, and with a crutch can now walk once more.

but as soon as one walking disaster is brought low another rises in the depths. The city guard has been sent to our breachhead in the cavern, but will not go hunting this creature unless it becomes necessary.
