tried a new method of transferring my image to a linoleum block that actually worked really well!!

first I cut my image using old vinyl and my cricut machine (make sure this is mirrored!!)

after you weed your cut place it on your block, and use a mixture of 3/4 water to 1/4 acrylic paint to lightly coat on top of your linoleum. This ensures that when it dries and you peel the vinyl off, your design still stays on your block!

I chose a light orange color to stain my golden linoleum, the acrylic mixture dries pretty fast so after it dries and you peel it off you are ready to carve or tweak your design!
