Regressor Charlie Hudson Headcanons

A surprisingly calm yet hyper five years old is mostly what he is while regressed.

^ he's calm when he needs to be and hyper when he can, mostly when he's playing outside with Rex

His regression is partially vonluntary and partially involuntary (mostly voluntary when he's alone and involuntary with other people if he gets triggered into regressing)

^ he has however, luckily for him, a great control of pulling himself or not out of headspace

He only ever vonluntary regress when he's alone or with Rex (who can be more or less consided his caregiver)

His regression is based a lot around the whole nostalgia of being a kid.

His two favorite things to do while regressed are playing outside (rolling in the grass, jumping in puddles, climb in trees, swimming, getting muddy, etc...) and watching old, often less popular, disney movies (the ones where the main characters are animals in particular) both of course with Rex.

He almost always ends up having scrapped knees (and elbows) from his numerous adventures because he isn't really careful but he doesn't mind one bit.

^ If he had a caregiver who would want to check it up (*cough Sarah *cough) and put a bandaid on it or something he would just squirm away as fast as he can to go back to running around.

He has his own set of rules that he made for himself and that he tries to follow (Rex is there to make sure they are followed if needed).

^ they made it very official by both signing it (Hudson with a signature and Rex with a paw print)

He always always sleeps with a nigh light (before it was only when he regressed but it became all the time after s.3 ep.9)

He doesn't have a human caregiver, but if he did he'd absolutely melt at every word of affirmation and every pet name.

He's fine with not having a caregiver, it would make him more uncomfortable to have one than otherwise most of the times. He likes that’s it's just him and Rex.

He never gets in trouble (or extremely rarely) and if he does it's always unintentionally.

Charlie sometimes invonluntary regress when he's around his aunt Miranda (because she act around him pretty much the same she did when he was still a child and that brings back memories you know) but she never catch up on it, it's just her nephew, the kiddo who loves mystery and always have, no difference. (Or she is completely aware of that but doesn't say a word about it, who knows)

He also sometime does when he goes to the dog shelter when he's walking and playing with the dogs so Dalton has seen him little a couple of times but he never said anything about it, to him Charlie just looks a little overly excited, nothing more.
