What a WASTE. The main love interest and there's... nothing there. NOTHING.

I think I may have described her as a plank of wood with tits. Man, I just wish she had more personality.

Being pretty isn't a personality trait. SERIOUSLY.

What do we know about her? She's intelligent because she's shown to be a plot device for Yeonwoo, privileged due to her parents. What else is there?

I'm sure she's a nice girl, and my dislike of her really isn't directed to the character. Just. Frickin' PTJ and his wonderful skills at writing women.

And oooooh nooo PTJ and his team can't ever forget the boobs btw. WHAT is with the women's bodies especially in season 2?!

Oh. And wtf. Did she really get beaten up as a plot device to bring Munseong back? My my, that's a new low isn't it?

Rumi

Quite like Rumi. She's shown to have a decent character development. Initially quite vapid and shallow but turns out she is kind and supportive and a really wonderful friend.

Also loved the arc where she quit the company and got scared. A very realistic response imo to everything and made her seem more of a rounded, three dimensional character.

Actually loooove her and Wangguk together, but I do NOT enjoy the pace of their relationship or how they got together. C'mon, you don't have to rush it.

And Wangguk blowing up whoever's place cos of Rumi's deepfakes?? BRO. WHAT ABOUT YOUR SISTER?? But that's a rant for another day.

Gaeul

Girl can fight!! Don't have much to add to her, although her character started off strong and now....

Honestly wtf was that Fake Couple arc with Hobin? WHY the unnecessary drama. Why are we reducing Gaeul to the third wheel between Bomi and Hobin??

Why are we also rolling Gaeul and Snapper out whenever the plot needs to move forward?!

Gyeoul

I fucking love this bitch. Never change.

Guys we were THIS CLOSE to having this character butchered and turned into another Hobin simp.

Thank fuck for that.

In Summary

Marginally better written than the girls in Lookism. At least Gaeul and Gyeoul can fight. Fucking LOVE Gyeoul.

Their body shape overall gives me the ick when combined with the way PTJ + co writes women.

Lastly, no words needed for the panel below. PTJ really wanting that harem for himself huh.

(The fifth heroine was meant to be the nurse.)

(And heroine is really a stretch. They are all damsels to be saved by Hobin except Gyeoul.)

Happy Birthday to me!

I feel like I’m in an ever-changing rotation of collections that I want to start/re-do and now it’s Sailor Moon! Sailor Moon was so incredibly important to me as a kid and had a big influence on my childhood, and I kind of stopped really LOVING it right around the time of the anniversary- funny how when Sailor Moon came back after such a long time, I didn’t care and didn’t get to enjoy it all. But it’s still going so w/e.  Anyway when I was five or six and the internet was still a toddler, I found the now-defunct Sailormoontoys.com which had photos of nearly every single SM doll ever made, which is where I’d discovered all of the gorgeous dolls made by Bandai Japan. I spent basically every day looking at them and wishing I could have them, going so far as to print out pictures. Sailor Pluto and basically every incarnation of SM were the ones I wanted most.  So as an early birthday gift I sold a few dolls and spent the money on these two! I love the Chara Talk SuperS dolls so I got Super Moon. Luckily her batteries hadn’t degraded (and were actually still functional but I took them out anyway), I love the faces and quality of this line and I’m in the process of hunting down the other dolls in the Super S Chara Talk line so that I can have a complete set of the Inner Super Senshi, though Venus will need a reroot because I feel like Bandai epically failed with her hair on every single doll. Shortly after Super Moon arrived I ordered Beauty Change Pluto, since she was a great deal and I’d always wanted her. I honestly LOVE the hair quality on most of the Japanese SM dolls, it’s like the loveliest, softest hair ever once you straighten it. However I HATE that Pluto A) has shorter hair than she should and B) didn’t even have her hair styled for the Japanese dolls, so I had fun straightening out her hair and giving it a simplified version of her canon style. With it all ironed out it looks a little more accurate, and I ironed down her bangs since they were all wacky looking. I honestly don’t like Pluto’s body (or any of the dolls from this line I’m assuming, since they all have the same body) because it feels cheaper than the Chara Talk one, which has better plastic and click-knee legs. I’m also bothered that she’s shorter than the Chara Talk body but that’s my fault for not realizing that the Japanese dolls didn’t all have the same scale from season to season. I have plans to get a set of each of the inner Senshi’s major forms ( except for honestly maybe Mercury because I don’t really care for her, and the Bandai Japan SMR Venus is kinda ugly so idk), and one of Neptune/ maybe Uranus. The Bandai Hong Kong dolls have a taller body than the Japanese ones, so I’ll probably hunt down the Hong Kong R Pluto and switch the uniforms, that way R Pluto fits in with the other girls from that season and Super Pluto fits in with the Super S Chara Talk dolls a little more. I also think I’ll have custom Fukus made for Pluto since I despise that Bandai changed her coloring to purple for the dolls, since Pluto is actually my favorite non-SM senshi and I loved the black fuku.

 I actually don’t care for the super fukus of the Outer Senshi because the best thing ABOUT the Outers were the variations in their designs, all of which were removed with their Super transformations (Netpune/Pluto’s chokers, Pluto’s lack of sleeves, Saturn’s ridiculously gorgeous fuku design etc) so I’m not planning on getting super Neptune/Uranus/Saturn and I only have Super Pluto because she’s my second fave character and I can never have enough of her. Plus the only Super Outer dolls are the Beauty Change line and the felt bows are kind of...ick. Again Pluto nearly gets a pass because she’s Sailor Pluto, but I still plan on having a black uniform made for her with a proper bow/brooch, though it’ll have to be the same design as the other doll fuku because I don’t want her to look more polished than the others. I’m not too fussed about having a full Sailor Stars collection but the Dream Pockets are some of my most-wanted dolls and they’re not SUPER HTF so I’ll probably end up with the outer Senshi and Eternal Moon at least. I also want the Italian NQS/ Serenity dolls for their clothes, since the Italian NQS has an amazing dress and it would look sensational on an extra Eternal Moon doll, but they’re really expensive and I don’t want to pay 600$ for a dress. Also want the complete ‘pretty face’ irwin dolls of the Outer Senshi + Super Moon and a nude Princess Serenity ( which are by FAR the best representations of them, aside from Pluto being too pale and having sleeves on her fuku) but I’ll take my time with them.
