This morning I went down a rabbit hole. It was under @emilyedithbowser house in LA. She's trying to capture her cat #Gremmy who got out. It's turned into Mission Impossible. // Our Francois, the Tuxedo cat, went missing for a few days and I was terrified of coyotes, and hawks, and eagles, etc all around. I slept in the greenhouse with all the doors and windows open for three nights hoping he'd come back. He did meow at 4 a.m. to be let back in on day 3. He was hungry and I was exhausted which begs the question who is rescuing who? // So why this office photo? Because I just looked through Emily's feed to see #Puck who I met when I was working with Emily on a shoot a while ago. While I was spinning through her outdoor reno (many aspects of which are similar to our outdoor reno) I saw some office pics that were styled just so. This beautiful bookcase was custom designed and built for one of our clients. It was actually designed to house a young boy's space sculptures but of course I didn't prop it that way. This was also the desk where he did his homework and now he's off to college. // These floors were custom finished to match the rest of the house and the artwork brought upstairs to feature for the shot. #picasso #miro // Now if only I could design the new floors for our home.
