There’s a trend on tiktok right now mostly popular with girls talking about how thousands of years ago, there was another girl who loved the same things we do. And its such a lovely reminder that humans are inherently good and kind and community is at the basis of who we are, strong enough that even across millenia we can feel kinship with those people.

Anyway, now I’m thinking that there was an ancient Greek or Roman somewhere, sometime, that loved pears as much as I do

#i actually think about this more than I should tbh #everybody tells me humans are evil #but how could they be when we get emotional over the possibilty of someone loving the same things we do? #how could humans be evil when hunter/gatherer societies yeilded healed femur bones #or that humans who shouldn’t have made it past 20 grew old in the stone age? #humanity is beautiful and vibrant #the hatred is a direct turn from who we are #it goes against everything we are as a species #LISTEN TO ME #HUMANS ARE BEAUTIFUL #THE WORLD IS BEAUTIFUL #AGH
