when I was at the airport last week I sat next to this mother and teenage daughter and the daughter was talking about this ex friend that she was not on good terms with anymore and at some point she said "she blocked me on whatsapp and that's nothing bad, but then she unfollowed me on tiktok and THAT'S when I knew our friendship was over" like ??????? that's not how social media works??? or friendships???

#please dont feel like you have to continue following your friends #if their content isnt your thing then you should be able to unfollow them #and if they have a problem with that theyre not a friend lol #anyway this has been on my mind for days now #also fun fact but when i had tiktok i didnt tell my friend and i blocked her account so she couldn't find mine lol #actually i think i blocked my irl friends that used to have tumblr back in the day on here too #and the saddest part is that her mom didnt correct her??? #her mom didnt tell her that being blocked on a texting platform is actually worse than being unfollowed by someone on social media #mine
