Some R3M thoughts:

I do think that Yuya’s return to cause some major development with the Boyz (ren and Shota). I wanted Strong Style to get the win over Hontai for the series because I think giving Ren a win will benefit him and leaving Shota to deal with that loss against Ren, who he sees as a wimpy nerd he’s better than. It’ll send him into a little crisis and give Ren a little confidence boost (I’m sure he’s a good amount of confidence but we need SOMETHING to fix his sad :/ )

Yota is clearly leagues ahead of both and I’m sure Ren isn’t happy about that or being put in a box with the other 2 but, Shota has voiced his displeasure for it. To me, Shota is accepting his role of future Ace and top of the company, he believes he’s destined to be there. He can be a little entitled about it too. He can play the role so well with all the lightsticks and smiles. But he gets so frustrated at the thought of losing especially to Ren who he sees as junior. If Shota loses, he’ll go into a bit of a crisis.

I’m sure he feels upset he’s stuck doing the best of 7 while Yota is challenging for major titles (he even voiced his displeasure of being put in the best of 7 and being put so low in the card just like Ren did). Yota is likely going to win a singles title before the 2 and neither of them will be happy about it (Shota WILL write on Twitter about it LOL)

And while the 3 of them are keeping an eye on the other 2, Yuya comes in and upstages them all. Yuya might take that future ace role and Shota will NOT BE HAPPY ABOUT IT 🤭🤭🤭
