Super agree with Foggy...look at Defenders where he sets aside his feelings towards Matt being Daredevil and shows him support by handing him his suit personally. And in S3 when he was adamant to Karen that he was willing to forgive Matt and didn't want to abandon him
But is Karen really at the same level of importance? One of the things that tick me is that I feel like I've seen Karen support Frank more than she ever did Matt. This is why I kinda fail to see the "she's so vital to Matt"...she didn't really show that. Not saying I wanted her to just show mindless unconditional support but it was weird how much more grace she showed to Frank than Matt in attempting to understand his motivations. She just straights up liken him to an addict which is problematic to me. Matt was the one man to ever help her first in her problem yet she couldn't lend him as much grace as she did Frank. Doesn't sit well with me at all
This is why she will never be as important as Foggy IMO. Sorry for the long rant.
Agai this really is a matter of fan’s opinion because I’ve seen so much Karen hate sadly, but for me, yes. I think she is. I say Foggy was the heart of the show, but not only to Matt, he was to Karen too. (She does say at one point that it was Matt AND Foggy that convinced her Matt was some kind of addict)
Matt has become one of my favorite characters ever, but I didn’t ignore some flaws he had or slightly had, and Karen was also a flawed character in certain ways. But she didn’t just straight up support Frank until after she dug deeper and found out what really happened why he was doing what he he did. And unfortunately that came at a time in S2 where there was too much shit on Matt’s plate and some things fell through the cracks. But Karen’s past makes sense of why she aligned with Frank and/or wanted to help him.
Because she also has a good heart under that penchant for pulling a trigger sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️ she’s just a little more okay doing it if she absolutely has to. But she’s always been determined and sharp minded and wants to help just as much as Matt does so when she was finally told, and it all made sense, by that point she was already hurt and disappointed 🤷🏻‍♀️ but she also comes around by the Defenders and S3- especially holding that hope and having a feeling that Matt wasn’t truly gone.
In S3 when Matt shows up at her place again Karen is back in a life threatening situation and her reactions to him again make sense for that moment and honestly very realistic.
If she was told sooner about Matt’s secret, if Matt revealed himself to be alive sooner in S3, she would have a different reaction. But this also goes back to my point about Foggy being the one who knows every side and shape and cut and damage piece of Matt. When he says to Karen that all of Matt’s life he’s been abandoned and he wasn’t going to do the same even after everything, and that everything was very much rooted in Matt’s own self hate and worth and his trauma. And I think once Karen was reminded of that she too wasn’t going to abandon Matt.
To me she never really did, stepping away to take time for herself is different than full on never speaking to him again or leaving, es if she felt hurt from the events in S2 but in The Defenders we see that she does still care for Matt.
The whole “vital” part to Matt thing I think is due to, again, her own heart and deep care she has for Foggy and Matt because she too lost her entire family (but it her fault or an accident) but because of some of the violence in her own life, and siding with Frank, she has more of an understanding with Matt’s violent Devil side and the injustice that’s the cause of that.
She’s just not the typical female character that sits by a man and lets them get away with hurting her or is super quick to forgive and forget, because if you hurt her you better not do it again. And maybe that’s something I resonated with in a way, but to me yeah, I think she’s just as important to Matt’s life. BUT that doesn’t have to be a continued romance (as they showed in Defenders and S3) and now that she knows everything and understands it more would make her someone else in his corner supporting him.
(Let’s not forget that Foggy still doesn’t outright support Daredevil’s tactics mainly because he’s terrified of Matt dying or getting caught)

For the accompanying drabble to go along with the first one: [x] Just another part of me trying a lil test.
-
As per usual, Yamamoto went for an early morning jog as part of his conditioning regimen. It was important to him to keep in shape as well as making sure to set some time aside to lose himself in his thoughts.
He may be the Rain Guardian, but that didn’t mean he was always calm and gentle. He also had a side to him that could be dangerous and cold like the biting rain.
“Oh? Yamamoto-kun! Good morning!” A familiar and friendly voice calls out to him from behind and he slowly brings his pace to a halt, allowing for Haru to catch up to him. He didn’t expect to see a familiar face this morning, but it’s a nice change of pace to have a break in the usual routine.
“Mornin’! What are you doing out so early in the day? I thought I was going to see you at Tsuna’s place yesterday.” It was a common occurrence for them all to congregate at Tsuna’s place after school. Haru wasn’t always a presence at the Sawada household (she was a busy person), but she did try to drop by as much as she could before she had to leave for whatever it was she was doing.
It was either her needing to run errands, or going to tutoring lessons. Some days, she wouldn’t come over because she had her own club activities to attend to. Gokudera was the one who would make some kind of comment about how he wasn’t sure if Haru could even perform gymnastics properly.
He could only picture her messing up.
Haru did have a bit of a clumsy streak, he couldn’t deny that, haha. Still, it was clear that Haru had a streak of athleticism to her as well as an adventurous heart that paired well with her sense of dramatics. It’s always a surprise to know she’s not in the drama club rather than being someone who helps them with costumes from time to time.
Yesterday was one of the days Haru normally would have dropped by, yelled at Gokudera for bullying Lambo, and then play with the kid to allow the guys some peace while trying to finish their homework. It wasn’t to say that he only missed her presence because Lambo made focusing on their homework harder.
It wasn’t right to view her that way- but it always felt like something was missing if she wasn’t around to play with Lambo and I-pin.
A dramatic sniff.
“You see… Haru got caught by Hibari-san yesterday. She was forced into servitude for a few hours, so she wasn’t able to find time to visit Tsuna-san yesterday. A shame too, because she wanted to see Lambo-chan and I-pin chan.”
Startled, Yamamoto’s eyebrows furrowed with worry. Was Haru forced into servitude for hours? That didn’t seem very much like-
“Hahi! Haru is joking, you know? She wasn’t forced to work for nothing. She got to play with the hibirds. They’re very cute, you know?” He watched as she nervously flailed her arms around as if she’s frantically trying to clear Hibari’s name.
The athlete couldn’t help but chuckle quietly to himself. Sometwaswas hard to tell when Haru was being serious and when she was overexaggerating something for dramatic flair. Even if she was being dramatic, there was always some truth to what she was saying. ‘She probably was asked to something menial as punishment for trespassing. Hibari doesn’t act violently so thoughtlessly.’
Sure, Hibari Kyouya was known for having a temper and a penchant for violence, but it normally was warranted, albeit a bit extreme at times. He still upheld a level of decorum as the face of Namimori. He wasn’t a mindless thug like some people made him out to be.
If you were to ask Yamamoto, the guy acted violently based on necessity, and his mood. As a disciplinary officer, it was his duty to discipline unruly students and rule breakers. Some people don’t learn unless you beat it into them, and that’s probably what Hibari was doing—or so Yamamoto always hypothesized. He didn’t torment children, animals, and girls without a good reason for doing so.
There were some exceptions like the kid or Adelheid. Hibari’s patience towards animals was on another level. Looking at Haru again, an image of her eating her fill of cakes on appreciation day come to mind. ‘She does look like a hamster.’
Aside from the fact she wasn’t a student of Namimori and therefore outside of his jurisdiction (not that it would stop him anyways), maybe Haru’s hamster-like nature was a reason she would be spared from much of Hibari’s violent and scary outbursts. Her politeness should curb some of his anger to some extent.
“Haha, how did you get ‘caught’ by him anyways? Were you okay?” Knowing how Haru could be, if she was caught by Hibari and subsequently threatened/warned, she may have broken down into tears. The way she could go into hysterics at a flip of a switch was impressive by all means—but that also would piss off Hibari, no doubt.
He notes the way she blinks a few times in confusion, tilting her head in confusion. She looked like she was confused by his asking if she was okay. Was that not the normal response one would give when told ‘I got caught by Hibari’? Surely Tsuna would’ve been asking her a million questions out of concern by now.
“Haru is okay. Haru has been accosted by the disciplinary committee before for trespassing, but she’s not faced any harm.”
This wasn’t her first time being caught by Hibari or the other disciplinary committee members? How many times has it been already? Haru Miura was quite bold to repeatedly trespass onto Namimori grounds.
“Haru sometimes drops off some treats for the birds when she has some time, but other times, Haru gets caught trespassing and she’s told to watch over the birds for a time.”
Hm? Doesn’t that mean that Haru has spent some time with Hibari without the rest of them knowing about it? How long has this been going on for? Somehow, Haru visiting to play with the birds didn’t seem unheard of. Haru has before walked up to the others and ask them to bring out their box animals to give them some pets. What was it she says all the time?
“You know, your box animals work so hard! They deserve to be spoiled every once in a while. Let them have some fresh air without the need to jump right into battle! So, Gokudera-san, bring out Uri. Haru brought fish treats for her.”
Wasn’t it Haru that coined the name Hibird for Hibari’s yellow buddies? What was their relationship that a nickname Haru came up with actually stuck?
“That reminds me, you were the one who coined the name ‘Hibird’ for his birds, weren’t you?”
“Oh!” She claps her hands with excitement. “Haru has always seen the bird perched on his shoulder or on top of his head. It always calls him like ‘Hibari, Hibari!’ It’s really cute.”
It was cute watching her mimic the yellow birds by flapping her hands like they were wings. Somehow that solidifies his theory that Haru is just a small animal that you’d feel bad for biting to death.
“It’s like… a pocket monster. Haru thought that ‘Hibird’ was a cute and fitting name. Somehow the name stuck.”
Never mind, there is a valid chance that she could get herself beaten to death if she voices half the things she thinks aloud. He’s sure that she’s smart enough to know what not to say around Hibari. All the horror stories Tsuna has told her about Hibari’s ‘violent tyranny’ probably had an impact on her.
‘Not enough to keep her away from Namimori or the birds, though.’ He mentally laughs at the thought. Was it that she was just bold or that cute things outweighed her fear? ‘With how Haru isn’t afraid to slap a future mafia boss because he was being a bad influence on kids, she probably thought cute birds outweighed Hibari’s scariness’.
Right you are, Yamamoto. Right you are.
“Sounds like you’re getting along with him just fine. Just be careful not to wake him. He gets cranky from what I hear. Aside from that, he’s not a scary guy.” In fact, Hibari is a reliable guy so as long as you don’t get on his bad side. It was always a relief to have him on your side when in battle, but it was also exciting when he was on the opposite team as well.
The memory of when Hibari joined Fon’s ‘team’ surfaces to the forefront of his mind and it brought about a bubbling sense of amusement from deep in his chest. That Hibari, he loved fighting too much. He gets it though.
Yamamoto would love to play baseball with all the teams in Japan and outside of the country as well! He loved baseball and testing out his skills against different players meant that he could potentially elevate his own level by broadening his horizons. How was it any different from when Hibari wanted to fight against strong fighters even if he may be at a disadvantage? You only improve by struggling and trying hard.
‘It does make it hard to coordinate with him though.’
That said, Hibari was a pretty simple guy as long as you knew what made him tick. As long as Haru was respectful, minded her volume, and continued to be nice to his birds, she should be fine. Yamamoto trusted that Hibari wouldn’t enact senseless violence on an innocent hamster-like Haru. He’d have severely misjudged Hibari if she ever does face harm by Hibari’s hand, however.
Haru playfully salutes, “Roger~ Haru will heed your advice. Haru won’t keep you from your morning jog for much longer. See you next time~” Haru waves him off and she starts walking off in another direction. He sets off on his jog again, starting slow before warming back up to a brisk jog.
“I didn’t know they got along that well that he allows her to play with his birds.” It didn’t seem like Hibari would allow the birds to associate with just any random person. Haru is a rather sociable person, so maybe she somehow warmed up to Hibari enough that he was willing to let her play with the birds.
“Is she changing targets?” He shakes his head and laughs, “Haru would hit me if I actually thought that.” The girl was wholeheartedly faithful to Tsuna, even if he didn’t pay her any attention. He offers her a silent apology in his head for doubting her for even a second.
He knows just how much she likes Tsuna and how despite knowing he’s obsessed with Kyoko, she wants to keep trying so she can proudly state that she did all she could before giving up.
That, is a story for another time.
Yamamoto enjoys the crisp morning air and continues on his jog, smiling when he sees a bird flying overhead. “A shame it isn’t one of his buddies.”

The Caged Bird Moans (pt 1)
Pairing: Diego Jimenez/f!Reader (Power - Starz)
Word Count: ~2600
Warnings:  It's a bit Stockholm syndromey, but that's not a real thing anyway (look it up). Not exactly non-con, but it skirts the idea, so if power disparities aren't your jam, please move along. It just real dirty. SMUT!
Personal ramble: Would anyone actually react like this to the situation I've set forth? No. But just as the pizza guy is never hot and doesn't offer you his extra sausage, this is porn people! So suspend your disbelief and don't hate on me for my bullsh*t.
I also wrote all this nonsense a week ago before I read anything from the lovely @1zashreena1 , @heresathreebee or @nicke0115 so sorry if it looks similar, I swear it's a coincidence.
Tumblr media
"Ouch", you think to yourself but instead swallow the pain. Your arm hurts under the firm grasp of the thug dragging you from the elevator into the spacious penthouse.
"Be careful with that." Says a commanding voice from across the room.
The grip loosens, but he's still using your momentum to force you forward. You stumble, unsure of just how much danger you are in.
As you take in your surroundings the owner of the voice turns around and approaches you. He looks you up and down, examining you like a prize he had won.
"We can't afford to damage her." He states plainly, looking at the man still holding you in place.
As he examines you, you examine him right back. Whereas he is doing it in an obvious way, head nodding to rake his eyes over you, you move your eyes only, unable to control your body in this moment. You follow the carefully polished boots up past the fitted black jeans to the black buttoned up shirt with the slight sheen to it, that accentuates his frame. Everything is obviously expensive and very deliberately chosen. As your eyes settle on his face, a recognization dawns on you. Diego Jimenez. One of the heads of the Jiminez cartel. His reputation was well known to you. An unstable, merciless man whose penchant for partying made him a big name in certain circles. You were scared before, but now your body goes rigid with fear and your gaze hits the floor with force.
Though you're no longer looking at him directly you can sense his smugness and satisfaction at knowing you are now showing the appropriate amount of fear for the situation you're in. Maybe it's your hind brain telling you you are in the presence of an apex predator. Maybe it was the clipped snort he let out, tinged with amusement as he nodded with approval.
After what feels like an eternity, but was probably mere seconds, he speaks again.
"Take her to the guest room." He orders the man still firmly gripping your arm. "Lock this little bird in her cage."
Dragging you again, this time down the hall, Diego's orders are followed to completion. You are practically thrown into the room as the door slams shut behind you.
You stumble, catching yourself on the bed. You collapse onto it as tears prick your eyes and subsequently fall down your cheeks. You begin to sob, but muffle it in the covers, assuming someone is standing guard outside and not wanting to seem even weaker in such an intense situation. But the tears flow freely as the shock of what's happened slowly wears off and you begin to process the details of your abduction.
You hadn't grown up in this world, though your ties to it were strong. You were part of the Bennet family, a rival cartel, headed by your grandfather. He insisted you grow up distanced from this world. A world of violence and cruelty. A world of drugs and guns and transactions ending in death. Based on your current reaction, you couldn't help but think maybe it was because you're so weak. Both you and he knew it was true, you were too soft to be a part of the business, too kind to do what would be required of you. So he kept you away, from his city and his dealings and all of the darkness that came with it.
You were in town for a rare family visit when you were taken without warning, snatched from the street at gunpoint. They were able to do it without drawing attention, entirely professional, and you complied with their every demand as a sense of terror ripped through you.
And now here you were, trapped by a barbarous stranger who could end your life at any moment without a second thought.
As you wore yourself out from crying, you began to take in the room, determined to get your bearings. It was sparsely decorated, obviously the work of a man unattached. It was also immaculately clean, obviously the work of his maid. As your breathing slows and your senses sharpen, you become aware that the comforter you are still on top of is plush and expensive, like the kind found at a swanky hotel.
Curiosity returning with your senses, you walk over to the window that stretches from floor to ceiling and take in the impressive view of the city. If the long elevator ride weren't a clear enough indicator, the view tells you that you are in the penthouse of a very upscale building.
Next to the window is a large bathroom and you walk in. You splash cold water on your face and dry it on one of the plush towels. You can't help be momentarily amused by how well stocked the room is with soaps and lotions. There were definitely worse places to be trapped. Was this the definition of a gilded cage?
As you settle down, you take off your shoes and sit back down on the bed. You're exhausted to your core, and you sink into the mattress, wanting to disappear. You want to keep your wits about you, alert and on guard, but instead the stress combined with the late hour forces you to sleep.
You are woken up abruptly the following morning when the door swings open and you are literally dragged out of bed by the same man as yesterday.
You're a bleary eyed, rumpled mess and the same fear and pain shoot through you as you remember where you are and how you got there. Your breathing is shallow as you try not to panic.
You've been dragged before Diego who is standing imposingly before you, hands clasped in front of him, chin slightly upward so he can look down his nose at you.
He examines you once more and you can tell he's disgusted by what he sees.
"Get our guest something to wear." He barks. "And get her something to eat. We can't bargain if she's broken."
As he turns away from you to resume whatever you interrupted, you catch the flash of the gun in his waistband and the fear settles once again in the pit of your stomach.
You are escorted back to the room forcefully and your mind is racing. You know everyone who comes through the penthouse is armed to the teeth and there's no chance of escape. You're not just weak, you're helpless. You assume you're being held for some kind of ransom, probably territory or resources as opposed to money, and you silently pray that a deal for your release is struck quickly so this nightmare can be over.
Soon after, the door opens and a housekeeper enters carrying a couple of bags of clothes. She doesn't look you in the eye and you wouldn't know what to say to her anyway.
Once she has left, you rummage through the clothes. There's nothing there you'd pick for yourself, but you settle on a white fitted t-shirt and jeans. You carry them with you into the bathroom along with a handful of drugstore makeup you find in the bottom of the bag.
You look at yourself in the mirror and the reason for Diego's revulsion becomes clear. Your clothes are wrinkled and creased and your mascara is smudged under your eyes. You lock the bathroom door behind you, strip down and take a shower. The running water calms you and once you finish you get dressed and approximate your normal makeup routine with what you have. If you're going to put on a brave front, you need to be as put together as possible.
When you emerge from the bathroom a tray of breakfast is waiting on the nightstand next to the bed. Eggs sunny side up and toast, simple and straightforward. You devour it greedily since you haven't eaten since lunch yesterday.
The day passes with 2 more meals brought to you by the same housekeeper at the appropriate intervals. In the absence of your phone, you distract yourself with mindless TV on the rather large set opposite the bed. You don't take in much as you think about your predicament and then try to force those thoughts of the worst case scenario from your mind.
Your sleep that night is restless.
You are brought before Diego once again in the morning, shortly after you wake.
This time you are allowed to walk under your own power, though your legs feel wobbly and your feet unsure as you approach him.
You're wearing a cotton t-shirt and shorts,  the closest thing you could find to pajamas. As he looks at you, you become painfully aware that you're not wearing underwear, his eyes seeming to stop at all the places where it should be.
You are at least able to look at him and take in more this time. He's clad in a similar black button up shirt and black jeans as yesterday, a uniform of sorts to convey his status. His hair is neatly cut and accentuates his angles, sharp jaw and well placed cheekbones. His greying facial hair gives him some earned distinction and his expression is hard and deliberate to elicit a specific reaction of fear. Through the careful tailoring of his shirt you can see that his body is sturdy and muscular. His tense posture using his frame to his advantage, making him seem larger than he actually is. You know to fear him, but he may be the most attractive man you've ever seen in real life.
He obviously cultivates an aura of power, and you can't help but be drawn to him as an Alpha Male. As you steel yourself, you dare to look him in the eyes. His eyes are cold but impossibly magnetic and you can't look away. He's looking back at you now, into you. Your heart forgets how to beat in rhythm and you swallow thickly.
He sees your fear and is clearly amused by it.
"Breakfast will be ready soon. You should go take a shower." He says, his lips curling upwards.
"I, I was going to." you stammer.
"Good girl." It comes out as almost a purr and sends a shiver down your spine.
This time it's Diego, not his associate who accompanies you back to the bedroom. His hand is hovering above the small of your back, ushering you forward while maintaining a small distance. You enter the room and the lock clicks behind you.
You turn to see that he's still in the room and with his gaze set upon you, you begin to back away towards the bathroom,  afraid to turn your back on him. This was clearly his intended effect.
You expect him to leave, but he's doing the opposite. He is stalking forward. Your heart is pounding out of your chest and your uneven breathing becomes gulping for air.
As he closes the gap between your bodies, he repeats his suggestion. "You should go take a shower." It's not a suggestion though, it's a command.
He leans in. "Go on." His lips are close enough to your ear that his breath catches in your hair.
His thick body is now urging you through the bathroom doorway by its approach. You back through it, still transfixed by his gaze.
You glance side eyed to your left at the shower that takes up the far wall. It's one of those large walk-in showers with a stone floor and a rain showerhead. It suddenly seems less like a shower and feels more like a trap about to spring shut.
"Take off your clothes." He says. He's not asking.
You gulp, your eyes have gone wide at the demand.
"Take. Off. Your. Clothes." He repeats in a tone that is both amused and losing patience. He raises his eyebrows slightly as he says it.
You look away, ashamed, and slowly and nervously acquiesce. You stand before him completely naked and try to avert your gaze. You are drawing your body inward, trying to conceal yourself in any way you can.
"Turn on the water." he says with his wicked smile widening.
You turn on the shower and wait for it to warm. It dawns on you that there's no shower curtain to protect you or glass wall to hide behind. You are fully exposed and will remain so.
You step under the water, unsure of what to do next. You'd obviously showered hundreds of times, but this wasn't a shower. It was a show.
"Wash yourself." His voice is quieter, more of a harsh whisper.
You grab a washcloth and pump the foaming body wash onto it. You rub it on the back of your neck and slowly work your way down to your shoulders. Your nerves have subsided a little as the water washes over your skin.
He's mesmerized by the motion of your hands and you drag the washcloth across your collarbones and down to your breasts, where you languidly rub them with the cloth as well as your free hand.
Your nipples harden at your own touch. He notices and his tongue drags over his bottom lip. You close your eyes in an attempt to momentarily escape.
When you open your eyes you notice him shift his weight and catch a glimpse of the shift in his muscles under his shirt. You get a rush as you feel the power dynamic shift slightly. You are slow to rub the washcloth down your legs and you arch your back slightly as you bend over, purposely sticking out your ass more than you naturally would.
His eyes are dark with lust and you can feel the warmth radiating from between your own legs.
"Rub your clit." He says, reclaiming his power.
You look at him with shocked eyes and your eyebrows knit.
"You heard me." he says. "I won't ask again." His head tilting slightly.
You put the washcloth aside and tentatively slide your middle finger between your thighs to your bundle of nerves. You notice how wet you already are and using gentle pressure you begin to rubbing in circles.
You close your eyes and swallow as your walls contract and release. Your breathing gets heavier and heavier until you're panting. Panting and touching yourself for this fixated man.
"Cum for me." He demands. "I need to see you cum."
You think to fake an orgasm. To end this little game he's playing, but it's too late. Your finger presses harder on your clit and you tremble as the real thing rips through you. You close your eyes and cry out with abandon.
When you regain yourself you look at him. You are raw and exposed and at your most vulnerable. His mouth is in a wide smile and his eyes gleam with satisfaction.
He reaches out to you, towel in hand. You steady yourself, turn off the water, and take the towel from him. You wrap it around yourself, suddenly panged with shame at how readily you revealed your most intimate self to this menacing stranger. Your posture closes, and reflects your return to shyness.
"Good girl." He says, and you feel the words like honey dripping in your ears.
He turns and leaves, his confident stride drawing your attention to how his jeans hug his perfect behind.
You dry yourself off and as you get to your inner thighs you're reminded of how wet you are. How wet you are for him. You want to blame the shower, but you know the truth. You're spellbound by this man, and god are you in trouble.

So I finished season 2 (they’re so short??) and thoughts
Scott just can’t get a break. The Argents, Derek, the kanima, Gerard specifically, all in addition to balancing school and whatever fragments remained of his normal life. Especially the second half of the season. I was so proud when it was revealed he had a plan all along and poisoned Gerard because that fucking asshole deserves it. It’s such a satisfying reveal, especially after Gerard being one step ahead all season long. Scott pulling one over him is just- asdhjkldfg.
Scallison was adorable as hell. The only person that ships them more than I do is Stiles. Their entire hiding-the-relationship thing was super cute to watch, and you almost forgot the very dire consequences of if they were discovered by the Argents. I liked how they showed Scott’s werewolf-ness and Allison’s family still managed to get between them even though they tried so, so hard to make it work. Sometimes, love isn’t enough to mend everything. And that’s not even to mention Allison’s total 180 after her mother died which was more the last straw among a dozen factors instead of being a lone force. And even then, when she slowly started going against everything she believed in to get revenge, Scott still stood as that last barrier that kept her from succumbing 100% to Gerard’s manipulation.
Which talking about, Gerard just blaming Kate’s death on Derek- who was not at all responsible for it is just- what the hell is your logic? If you really want ‘revenge’ for Kate, you should’ve resurrected Peter and killed him.
And of course, Derek. I like Derek, ok, seriously. However, his penchant for violence and general disregard for transparency with his own pack started to really annoy me this season in a way it didn’t in season 1. And yes, his past and experiences should be taken into consideration and I know why he acts the way he does but at the end of the day, it still annoyed me and he was a shitty alpha whose pack members literally left and started looking for other packs/alternatives because he sucked. Also, I know he needed to build a pack as quickly as possible and again, I get his reasoning, however, he’s still an adult turning teenagers who have no idea on the full extent of what they’re getting themselves into.
I LIVE for the Scott&Stiles duo and I want more (yes; I know they’re a central part of the show however, there is no such thing as too much Scott&Stiles)
The Scott/Isaac friendship is so precious- the scene at the animal clinic where Isaac learns to take another creature’s pain was absolutely adorable.
I actually liked Matt as a villain? He’s definitely under utilized in fanfic although that might just be my choice of fic lmao
The dude that plays Jackson did a stellar job on differentiating between Jackson and the kanima controlling him. It kinda reminded me of Stiles/nogitsone
I’ve seen a billion edits based on Matt saying Derek and Stiles “make a pretty good pair” but in context, it seemed almost random.
Talking about that scene tho
Melissa pleading to take a look at her baby’s bullet wound and her face when she saw him transform/Scott’s reaction broke my heart
Stiles’s hallucination about his dad also broke my heart
adding onto that, Stiles in the season finale- like the whole thing about him getting beaten up by Gerard as a message for Scott, it having little impact on Scott who doesn’t even see it until everything’s over, the Sherriff’s reaction to the whole mess, etc- it was all very heartbreaking
Poor Lydia; I felt so bad for her this season with all the shit she went through. And unlike Scott/Stiles/Allison/etc; she had no one to confide in. And it’s sadder because it’s totally understandable why Scott and Allison and Stiles wasn’t there for her. They had bigger things to deal with. But it meant Lydia had to go through all that on her own and I high-key want to send Peter to hell via Kira’s sword so he can suffer for eternity.
And JACKSON. Dude really tugged on my heartstrings. I think it was the utter helplessness and lack of agency regarding his own actions and being dehumanized and treated as just a mindless weapon. How do you not feel sorry for him?
His and Lydia’s storyline with them actually caring about each other to the point that she’s his anchor despite their relationship being somewhat unhealthy/shallow was just- it was great, alright.

Hanna (2020) Season 2 Amazon Exclusive Quality : WEB-DL Resolution : 1080p, 720p IMDb : 7.5 / 10 Release Date : Genres : Action | Amazon Exclusive | Drama Stars: Esme Creed-Miles, Mireille Enos, Joel Kinnaman Language : English
Scepticism was rife when it was announced in 2017 that the film, starring Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston and the rest of the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, would be made into a TV series.
The hype around the show's second season is building fast, and it's a huge step forward for the show and its fans alike. The TV series is the second season of Hanna - Barbera, the popular animated series about a group of teenage super soldiers. After all the characters from season 1 are brought back, season 2 will include a host of new additions. At the forefront of these new characters is a new character, a young girl with a mysterious past and a penchant for violence, but who will play this enigmatic character? Like all shows, Hanna's second season looks like it's set around the story of a teenage "super soldier."
Hanna Season 1 enchanted the audience with its star - with performances by leading actors such as Hanna - Barbera's daughter Hanna and her sister Sophia. Hanna is a coming-of-age drama about teenage rebellion, when Hanna escapes her persecutors and is on the run in Morocco, experiencing the joys of making friends while fleeing from them. Season 2 follows Hanna as she struggles to survive in a boarding school that turns a girl like her into a mindless government killer. The teenage assassin is in the midst of a war between the government and the rebels in her homeland.
Amazon is known for quickly renewing their hit series, and they have renewed Hanna for Season 2. Hanna Season 2 has even more to tell than the first season, so there's plenty of room for it. Jack Ryan was also renewed for season one in 2015, before season one had even been released.
The series has been extended because many fans demanded a sequel from its creators, so we will try again.
Hanna Season 2 is almost finished filming and will premiere in the next month or two, and its release date is expected to be the first quarter of 2020, meaning the Amazon original show could premiere between March and April of this year.
While the first season took nearly a year to stream online after filming began, the second won't last that long. Season 2 will be available in limited time on Amazon Prime Video - limited preview form, according to the show's creators.
Amazon Prime Video has announced season two and released the official trailer for season two of the show ahead of its July launch. Season 1, and Amazon has renewed the show for a second season, according to a press release from the show's creators. Hanna's second season returns for eight one-hour episodes and follows the journey of an extraordinary young woman who escapes the relentless persecution of a sinister government agency and tries to uncover the truth about who she is. After her discovery at the end of the first season, Hanna (Esme Creed Miles) knows that she is not the only one with a mysterious past, a secret identity and her own dark past.
By moving to the Meadows facility, the trainee lifts her restrictions and senses the possibility of a new identity in the outside world.
In April 2020, Amazon released a teaser trailer for Hanna Season 2, which, while not revealing much, offered plenty of intrigue. It doesn't take much to lure Hanna back into the action in "Hanna 2020 Season 2." Hanna returned to her refuge in the woods with Clara at the end of season 1, but it is also possible that Sophie and her family will return to continue their education and teenage life.
The teaser shows Hanna watching a hidden camera, and she seems to have noticed that she is watching, but what is she watching?
The Amazon reboot of the 2011 action thriller starring Saoirse Ronan and directed by Joe Wright (Darkest Hour) mimics the events of Hanna's film, but goes beyond that to explore a larger universe to explore further potential for Hanna's second season. Esme Creed Miles takes on the title role as Hanna, while Joel Kinnaman plays Erik, the father of their young daughter Hanna. Erik steals baby Hanna from Utrax and hides her in a secret facility in the United States for the rest of his life. Hanna is born as a genetically enhanced super soldier in the CIA program "Utrax" and is the first of a series of genetically enhanced super soldiers in her family.
Amazon Prime Video has released the official trailer for the second season of HANNA ahead of its launch in July. Hanna's second season returns with eight one-hour episodes and follows the journey of an extraordinary young woman who escapes the relentless persecution of a sinister government agency and tries to uncover the truth about who she is. After her discovery at the end of the first season Hanna (Esme Creed - Miles) knows that she is not the only one in her family with a mysterious past. By moving to the Meadows facility, the trainee lifts her restrictions and senses the possibility of a new identity in the outside world. Hanna Season 2 is about how Hanna escaped successfully and how she survived, what life she experienced and what she is fighting and fighting. The upcoming season will probably show Erik's journey and we may be dealing with her quest to avenge his death.
Stay tuned to get the latest updates on the Amazon Prime series, and don't forget we're back for season two!
TV series based on the 2011 assassination film starring Saoirse Ronan, which was made into a film adaptation of the bestseller of the same name and a sequel to the film. The return of the title character promises to be an exciting and captivating series not to be missed. The Amazon remake is the first in a series of two - part spinoffs of the film, and the highly anticipated second season of Hanna is back on screens. I gave up the eighth episode of the first season for good reason, hoping that the story (we already know the ending) could be extended into a second season.
At the end of the first season Hanna discovered a shocking revelation about her past and above all that the other girls, just like her, are bullied. With the return of Esme Creed, Miles, who really stood out in his role, I've put together a list of all the shows to watch for Hanna's second season.
We're used to seeing male killers in the spotlight on screen, so it's refreshing to see strong female characters, which Hanna does plenty of. Hanna is the first time Esme Creed and Miles have been cast in lead roles following the success of Hanna Season 1. The creators have decided to re-shoot Hanna Season 2 to showcase her new cast and name a suitable date. I hope Amazon Prime will release it soon, but I hope it will be in the mid-2020s.
Hanna, the main character on the show, has genetically advanced superpowers, but she was not born an ordinary human. She was born with the ability to be a person with super powers such as telepathy, telekinesis and super strength.
Season 2 has gone into production, but if given the green light, it is possible that Hanna Season 3 will begin production in 2020, meaning early fans would get to see her in 2022. Whether Hanna will be renewed for season 2 when the new season can ramp up production is debatable, as the world continues to suffer from the coronavirus pandemic.
The full cast for Hanna Season 2 is not yet known, but it will bring back some of the main characters from Season 1, including Hanna's best friends Esme and Hanna and the rest of her family. Fans may expect a few new faces to enrich the show's creativity, such as a new character from the past, or perhaps even a few new characters from previous seasons.
If you haven't seen Season 1 yet, I recommend you check out the pilot episode to get the best and clearest news in time for the release of Season 2. Amazon Hanna Season 2 is set to premiere on Prime Video on Friday, July 3 Anyone who has seen the first season and also the premiere episode of season 1 can assume that the show will be a super hit. Because Hanna is an Amazon original, it follows the usual schedule for Prime Video premieres and is available to sleep in. Every few weeks, a new Prime video title appears on the service, usually in the form of an episode or two series. Hanna Season 1 enchanted viewers with its star - with performances by the main characters Hanna and her best friend Hanna and the rest of her family.
Season 2 follows Hanna as she struggles to survive in a boarding school that turns a girl like her into a mindless government killer. The titular teenage assassin is in the crosshairs of the government and her ex-boyfriend and wants revenge. Hanna is back, but this time with a whole new set of enemies, new friends and a new mission. The story of the first season was told as an extended version of the plot of the film, and that is why Farr was inspired to make the series after he wrote the film. In season 2, Hanna's lust for revenge, coupled with her desire to transform Utrax into other teenagers, is potentially a major driving force for her. She learns more about her past, what she experienced in the real world and what her organization has created, suffers from the loss of Erik and learns to create her own identity as a murderer in her new life.
After training her in combat and survival tactics for 15 years, Erik tries to find a way to give her a new life that puts her in contact with other CIA agents, led by Jerome Sawyer and Khalid Abdalla. Hanna is a coming-of-age drama about teenage rebellion when she escapes her persecutors and meets friends for the first time while on the run in Morocco.

SOLS - Liam’s POV
I wrote a little something that will never become its own thing because writing fanfic of your own fanfic of a show is so meta I don’t wanna go there, so here you are - salty little Liam’s first encounter with Brett, from his point of view. Enjoy ^_^
Liam's nineteen and some spare change when he first meets Brett.
He's also a lot of things that have absolutely nothing to do with his age: he's broke, resolutely ignoring near-debilitating mental health issues, steadfastly refusing to acknowledge his parents, and working a job that has him under the thumb of quite possibly the worst boss imaginable.
He's also, as Hayden would put it, a great foster-dad to a range of different animals, most notably a stupidly fat tabby cat with a penchant for eating things that aren't strictly food. Like shoelaces and tissues.
Said cat has gnawed his shoelaces into almost nothingness the morning Liam sees Brett for the first time, and Liam's pretty pissy over it. That's what he gets for letting it sleep on his fucking face and use him as a living pincushion; the cat clearly doesn't know boundaries.
"Customer," Hayden hisses to Liam, just past opening. "Try and smile."
Liam rolls his eyes, flips her the bird, and hides behind his coffee machine to avoid having to talk to or look at anyone.
Liam goes about his business, making coffees and calling names. He notices when he gets to Brett's mostly because he's the only person who hasn't ordered a fucking soy chai half-sugar latte with a splash of fuck-knows what; he's just ordered a nice, simple mocha. That's it. Liam can respect that, a guy who doesn't overcomplicate shit.
"Order for Brett?" he calls tiredly, loading a croissant up onto a plate. He's half-expecting the middle-aged dude in the corner to come over and he's ready to fight the guy - dude's been drooling over Hayden all morning and Liam can probably find it in himself to break some limbs today - but instead, the guy sitting closest to the counter unfolds himself.
Liam spares him a brief glance, mostly just noticing how stupidly fucking tall the guy is - like, modelesque, really. He pushes the tray over and goes back to his machine.
"Darth Vader?"
Liam looks up, surprised. The guy's got bright blue eyes, large, almond-shaped, with long lashes. "You didn't seem like a panda kind of guy," Liam says blankly. He's kind of bewildered at being spoken to, because - well, he's the barista, which means he doesn't have to talk to people, which is why he likes this job and refuses to learn how to operate the till.
The guy smiles. Thousands of stupidly white teeth. Little crows' feet at the corner of his eyes. Pretty. Stupidly pretty. Stupidly everything. Liam would probably try to fuck him if it weren't for the fact that the guy is almost definitely straight - Liam's getting no vibes there - and his own general level of saltiness on this particular day.
"Nothing wrong with pandas," the guy says - he's got a weird accent. Midwest? Maybe Michigan or Ohio - Liam supposes he could ask the dude whether he uses the word soda or pop, not that he's gonna, because that would be fucking weird.
He shrugs. "Pandas are cute I guess," he agrees. "But Darth Vader has the force."
He kinda figures the guy'll move away in a moment, but he doesn't. He looks down at his mocha, wraps his hands around it, and leans his hips subtly into the counter between them. Liam continues to clean the machine; he's done his part in keeping up the conversation.
"So why one or the other?"
So we're gonna keep doing this. Okay. Liam's resigned himself to the fact that cute guy with the weird accent and beaten-up attitude is about to find out that he's fucking weird; he gestures at Hayden. "She keeps telling me it'll improve business if we have "flair" or something," Liam mutters, not going to any effort to hide his disdain for the idea. "I mean I'm not really an artist but business means I have a job."
"You don't like it?" the guy asks.
"You know how many fucking pandas I draw a day, dude?" Liam asks dryly.
He's not sure if he's pleased or pissed off when the guy laughs; he didn't mean it as a joke, but the guy kinda looks like he hasn't laughed in a while, so it might be good for him. "Well," the guy says, smiling. "Thanks for the effort."
Liam shrugs nonchalantly, even though the mild praise has him softening considerably. "Kids like it."
"I bet." The guy's watching him closely, and as Liam turns to wipe the counter down, he leans forward a little; Liam steps back to compensate, feeling a little nervous at the close proximity.
"McGrumpy?" the guy asks, voice measured.
Liam checks his nametag. "Oh. Yeah. Apparently I have an attitude problem." He rolls his eyes a little at the thought, and at Hayden's vaguely exasperated, but fond scolding ringing in his head. "But that depends on who you're asking."
"Do you have an attitude problem?" Stupidly Pretty guy is smiling with his stupidly white teeth.
"Yeah," Liam admits reluctantly. He knows that, he just doesn't think it's enough of a problem to warrant effort into fixing it.
"So what's your real name?"
"Liam," he says, surprised at how willfully forthcoming he is. "That's Hayden, and I'd introduce you to our manager but once again, he's shot through and left us with twenty million bloody customers and one less pair of hands."
Pretty Boy - Brett, Liam remembers suddenly - leans across the counter, seemingly mindless of the way Liam steps back again. "Sounds bad," he says, and his voice is so genuinely sincere Liam's almost disgusted. He overcompensates for the niceness in his usual way - by acting like an abrasive prick.
"And he won't hire anyone else because he's fucking stingy, and doesn't want to actually have to declare employees on his tax, which is flouting about a million different laws. Probably."
His roughness apparently goes unnoticed, much like his shifty body language, because Brett replies with a simple, "You know much about law?"
"Only how to break it," Liam mutters moodily. "Which he is."
"You an expert in breaking the law?" Brett asks, only now seeming mildly concerned.
"Don't have to be," Liam says shortly. "You wanna break the law? Smash a window or snort some cocaine. It's easy."
Why the fuck, Liam? He asks himself, watching Brett open his mouth, then close it. Why? Of all the illegal shit you could've named, you picked fucking drugs. Good one.
"... Are you speaking from experience?" Brett asks, almost timidly, and Liam's so honest to God surprised the guy hasn't fucked off and left Liam to his weirdness he feels something that might vaguely resemble gratitude. If he could feel that, which, after the life he's had, he's fairly sure he can't.
"No," he says, almost quickly. "Just hypothetically. If you wanted to break the law, that's how you could do it. Or you could punch someone."
Drugs as a first example, violence as a second. If he ever had a shot getting laid with this guy, it just flew out the window. Probably broke the damn thing on the way out, too.
He's saved by his own mildly psychotic rambling in the form of Hayden pinning a new order to his machine; he sighs as he turns to it, watching out of the corner of his eye as Brett leaves to return to his table.
For a moment, Liam's focussed on his task - making the coffee perfectly, because it's fucking Mrs. Dowdle, and she's nitpicky as shit when she's in a good mood. Today, her wrinkled face is set in a disapproving scowl. She hates Liam. She's never spoken to him, but Liam's got double-pierced ears and half-purple hair, and Mrs. Dowdle wears a cross the size of his palm around her neck. The only thing he could do to make things worse for himself is get a sleeve of tattoos, and honestly, the only thing stopping him is the money involved.
"Etta Dowdle?" he calls, passing the coffee over.
He knows what her next moves will be. She takes it from him, stiffly, trying not to touch him - judgmental old witch - and sets it down gently. Takes the top off, lifts the lid gingerly, sniffs. Inspects the foam. Looks up at Liam. She hates it when he messes it up - and she hates him even more when he gets it right, because then she has nothing to bitch about.
"Double frothed?"
"Yup."
"Three sugars?"
"You know me, Mrs. Dowdle," Liam says boredly. "I lack the strength of spirit to deliberately mess up your coffee."
She sniffs. "Good."
"You're welcome," he calls as she leaves, and Hayden whacks his ass with a rolled-up magazine. "Ow, Jesus, what?"
"Be nice! She's old!"
"She's a fucking bitch!" Liam hisses. "Give her a chance and she'll be back here with an altar, bible, and holy water, trying to exorcise me."
"Look, I'm not arguing against that, because I think you might be right," Hayden says, "but you could get fired."
"God, okay, okay, I'll be nice or whatever."
"I'm not asking you to be nice. It's Monday morning and I know you're not safe for the general population until at least Wednesday." Liam has to smile here, reluctantly, because really, Hayden knows him way too well. "Just... be civil?"
"Alright, okay. Civil. You got it. Just don't hit me with the magazine again."
"Why?" She gets that stricken expression of alarm that usually coincides with her thinking she's somehow hurt him. "Did I hurt you?"
He rolls his eyes. If Hayden had her way, she'd wrap him in bubblewrap and never let him leave their apartment. "No, look," he says, "I like it, okay, you just - it embarrasses me when you do it in public, Hayds, we agreed to keep that shit in the bedroom."
Her face cracks open into a genuine grin, and she laughs loudly enough to get the attention of a few of the customers. "Okay, I'm sorry," she giggles. "I'll save it next time."
"Good, thank you," Liam mutters, and Hayden leaves him with an affectionate swat on the thigh.
The room gets busy again, then wanes; by the time Liam looks up again, he's surprised to find that Brett's still at his table. The plate that held his croissant is devoid even of crumbs, but his coffee has barely been touched.
Liam narrows his eyes. His coffee is good, and he knows that. His desire to confront Brett and demand what's wrong with his fucking mocha is exactly the reason he isn't suited to customer service, either.
Still, as he watches, Brett takes a careful sip of the coffee, then puts it back. And that's when Liam notices - Brett's got a duffel bag and backpack on the bench beside him, as well as his laptop bag. And his hands are shaking - Liam's hearing has been honed to near-perfection after years of listening for his alcoholic dad coming home from the bar, and he can hear Brett's coffee cup rattling against the saucer as he puts it down.
Damn, Liam realises. Is he homeless?
Curiosity killed the cat, but Liam slides out from behind the counter and collects Brett's plate and cutlery slowly. Brett looks at him - almost timidly, like he's afraid of Liam or something.
Stalling? Liam wonders. So we don't kick him out maybe?
They're supposed to kick people out when they're done so that non-paying customers don't leech their power and internet. But Liam doesn't have the heart to do it, so he just collects Brett's dishes and retreats behind the counter. Hayden's standing there, looking bored now that the morning rush is over.
"Is he still drinking that?" Hayden asks.
Liam nods. "I could be totally off-base," he admits, "but I uh, I think he might be homeless. See all the bags?"
Hayden looks, and her expression crumbles sympathetically. "Yeah," she murmurs. "I think you might be right."
"Reckon he's stalling?"
"Probably." She bites her lip. "Let's not kick him out," she says. "I don't know how we're gonna manage, Richard is meant to be back in an hour."
Liam thinks for a moment. "I'll just start making a coffee or something, I dunno," he says. "Say it's for him. That he ordered and shit."
She looks surprised. "You care?"
He narrows his eyes at her. "I do have a heart, you know," he mutters. "Just because it's covered in layers of ice and stone doesn't mean it isn't there."
She smiles. "I know," she says. "I've seen it."
He scowls at her, but she must know it's a front, because that gentle, loving expression stays on her face. It's still there when she goes back to the counter.
Brett finishes his coffee; Liam collects the mug and saucer, resolutely avoiding Brett's eyes. And when their boss comes in, Liam's fucking ready - the "He ordered," slips lazily off his tongue like it couldn't be anything but the truth, and his boss believes him.
Brett looks panicked when Liam brings the coffee - complete with a stupidly cheerful-looking gingerbread man - over. "Tall caramel macchiato for Brett," he says, voice almost sickly sweet with his desire to have Brett play along with him.
Brett looks up - dude looks like a bunny in the headlights. "I-"
He's not gonna get it. Because he's probably stupid but also probably scared. Liam narrows his eyes and wait until comprehension begins to bloom across Brett's face to say, "You are Brett, right?"
"Yeah," Brett says, stumbling over the word. "Yeah, sorry. Listening to music."
"Enjoy," Liam says sweetly, and takes his leave. Seriously. He's gonna need his heart to go back to being icy, because caring about people's welfare is too much fucking work.
