MCU really lost the opportunity to cash in on Loki's entire time with Thanos and the denial/reclamation of his past on Asgard and being hurt by his family and being Jotun and loving his family regardless and being a master sorcerer like wow what part of his identity did the show cash in on exactly

#they cashed in on 'he didn't like hurting people' as if that wasn't blatantly visible in Thor 1 Avengers 1 and Thor 2 already #it took the entire movie of conflict to get loki to destroy jotunheim and he was crying and it wasn't even about killing the people then #loki looking empty through avengers 1 and not watching as he uses the guy's eye and crying @ Thor and being tortured.... like..... #idk what to tell you man he said a few true words to Frigga and Odin and later Thor and he was in tears already #like buddy pal this is not new information #they tried to cash in on loki not wanting a throne which has been a major loki thing in Thor 1 Avengers 1 Thor 2 h*ck! even Thor 3!! #Loki having the throne but not wanting it is a thing--it fell to him in Thor 1 and he messed Thor's coronation to *delay* it not steal it #whenever he's tried to take the throne it wasn't *for* the throne #Avengers 1 Loki being pspspspss-ed at by the Other and the Mind Stone like idk what else you can get from having no conviction #Thor 2 Loki like hehe i kicked the old man off the throne. let me give it to Thor now that he's less arrogant. #Ragnarok Loki even didn't argue when Thor returned like #the Loki show #he doesn't like hurting people. and what about it???? oh there's nothing else?? that's all you wanted to get out??????? ??? #he doesn't want the throne???????? which has held true in every movie ??? but we're not going into the why or what the throne stands for??? #weak.
