wouldn’t it be funny as fuck if i really was fired and they forgot to tell me. like can you imagine

#keep in mind i have never been written up or even received a verbal warning #have called out a grand total of 3 times in 15 months #received a performance bonus last month that as i understand it was given to very few employees #have been described universally by leads in my former role as ‘the best damn cleaner this target has ever seen’ #called the former hr guy an asshole to his face multiple times and not only did he not fire me but BEGGED me not to quit #and also PAID me for an hour for that even though i was only there like 40 minutes tops #and current hr is my longtime favorite lead who told me after the aforementioned incident that he’d been like ‘we CANNOT lose her!!!’ #and also wants to personally mentor me as i step into this de facto FOS lead role #which ideally then transitions into a de jure FOS lead role. aka Promotion #anyway watch me say this and then go to work tomorrow and have them be like ‘btw holly you’re fired and we forgot to tell you’ #my job wrapped
