Harold Roth’s new book just in! @artofwitchcraft @haroldrothart It was first translated into English in 1896 by Moses Gaster, who removed many of the spells, making the text unusable for magic. Harold Roth's The Magic of the Sword of Moses is the first book to show, in detail, exactly how a magician can wield the Sword--how to effectively perform the purification ritual, adjure the angels, and pronounce and use the divine names for each spell. Freshly interpreted and with clear instructions on how to use the spells, The Magic of the Sword of Moses features a foreword by occult scholar Joseph Peterson as well I as information on how to practice ancient pre-Kabbalistic Jewish magic. Readers interested in working with early grimoires, hermeticism, angel magic, and occult talismans will find a treasure trove of information. Posted @withregram • @botanicaobscuraconference I couldn’t be more honored and excited to be able to announce Harold Roth as our keynote speaker!!! He has been so influential in the Poison Path movement! Harold Roth is an alchemist, herbalist, author, and artist. He began gardening in the early 1980s, with a focus on plants used in practical alchemy and plants for dyeing fiber. Within a year, he had stumbled upon the nightshade family, and has been growing them ever since. Harold is a master grower with two decades of experience, specifically with the infamous mandrake. So many of us have been inspired and influenced by the work that Harold has done over the years. He ran Alchemy Works since the early 2000’s and was one of the earliest resources on poisonous plants and witching herbs online. He wrote the book, The Witching Herbs published by Weiser Books in 2017, which was up until very recently one of the only books to give practical usage information on many of our cherished plants for magical practice. He is currently finishing his second book, The Sword of Moses, which comes out in July 2022. Nowadays Harold teaches online classes on a number of topics, paints, grow mandrakes, and writes. He ran @alchemyworksmaterialsofmagic for 20 years which is still one of the best online esoteric apothecaries! @haroldrothart @artofwitchcraft #haroldroth #botanicaobscura #veneficium #banefulherbs #poisonplantallies #plantalchemy #plantmagick #plantspiritally #plantspiritfamiliar #familiarspirit #plantspiritmedicine #masterplantspirit #banefulherbs #veneficium #pharmakon #datura #thornapple #poisonhemlock #belladonna #deadlynightshade #atropabelladonna #daturastramonium #witchingherbs #ethnobotanicals https://www.instagram.com/p/CYPU2L1LCwp/?utm_medium=tumblr
