General thoughts on the fnaf movie under cut now that i've pulled myself back together overnight

Spoilers, obvs

Given that the movie is seemingly going on it's whole own thing utterly disconnected lore-wise, I think Afton's motive in this film is one of the funniest things I have ever seen

Dude nabs a kid at a picnic and buggers off, presumably just kinda goes "well, i'll get that one too at some point I guess", the thought vanishes for 20 odd years, Mike shows up at his office, and Afton's just like "OH SHIT IT'S THAT KID I WAS MEANT TO KILL"

LIKE SIR PLEASE

Also, just in general, now that I've seen it, I think M was the perfect rating to aim for. In terms of what they wanted to show, I think it served well. Hell, the Silhouette Censoring even added to damn thing the couple of times they did it.

The movie, much like the games, is much more interested in Suspense Horror than anything gore-related, and it builds suspense when it wants to very well. There's a LOT of quiet/nigh silent moments with decent spooks or subtle reveals as payoff, and they pretty much all work.

The set and pupperty were BREATHTAKING MY GOD THIS MOVIE IS PRETTY!!! They knocked outta the damn park with the pizzaria and Mike's shitty flat, and the animatronics were just a sight to behold... THE WEIGHT OF THEM YOU COULD FEEL IT LIKE YOU SHOULD

Also... we DID get to see a bitch get Springtrapped. So no matter what I am happy with this film forevermore.
