The After Party - BWS

Hey, everyone. I hope you are all doing and enjoying your time. This took a few weeks to write but finally has come out the way I want it roo. I may tweak it a bit later down the line. I really hope you enjoy it, and I hope you all have a great week ahead...

It was a beautiful sunny October, which was a bit odd as it was winter even though it was cold, but the power of the sun just made it look so beautiful. Everyone was in their hotel rooms, either waking up or getting ready for James and kirstys big day, as it was their wedding day and all friends and family were staying at the hotel to celebrate this very specialday.

You were the first person to be up as you were the maid of honour and you had some jobs to do in order for the day to perfectly without any hiccups along the way that's was the last thing you ever wanted especially for today of all days.

As you were the first one to get ready, it was your tob to make sure everyone that needed to be here was here and doing their job. You wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for your best friend big day. You have been friends kirsty since you were little, and her friendship meant a lot to you, and you did anything for her cause you were loyal to them.

Moments after you realised everything was going smoothly, which meant you can now your hair and make up. You came into the bridal suite to check on your best friend who was in the fhs process of getting ready.

"You look absolutely beautiful. There is no other word that could describe how beautiful you are."

You said to kirsty while smiling.

"Aww well your very sweet. You should get yourself ready too and if everything alright at the venue"?

Kirsty asked.

"Yeah, you don't have to worry about things. Everything is going perfectly, all the important people are here. The photographer is here, and the decorations are nearly dome sp. Please stop worrying"

You said to her.

"Jusr want everything to be perfect"

Said kirsty.

"And it will, just leave everything to me, and all will be alright, I promise"

You said. You were about to leave, but then kirsty pulled you back.

"Wait, one moment, are you bringing anyone with you?"

Asked kirsty.

"As in"?

You asked.

"As in a date, oh come on, you can't be alone at my wedding. I have an idea why don't you ask Brad"

She said to you.

"Oh, me and Brad are just friends notning more kirsty"

You explain to her even though deep down you know you had something special for him, but you didn't want to ruin the friendship you had with him.

"Oh, come on, I see the way he looks at you. He is very protective, ove you know. I can definitely see you both together, so maybe consider it OK, I don't want you to be on your own today"

She said to you so to make her happy you agreed to sit with him at the ceremony. You made your way to get yourself ready as time was now ticking, and everyone was on their way to getting ready.

Once you were happy with everything, you had time to go and check on everyone else. You went from door to door, making sure everyone was ready and so far everyone and everything was going well. While running around, you reached the last hotel room in your room, which was, of course, James room and his band mates they sounded like they were having fun which made you winder what on earth was going on there so you gently knocked and waited for them to answer.

"Oh hello Y/N"

He said in a polite smile.

"Hey James, I just wanted to see everything is alright , and are you boys ready?"

You said with a smile.

"Yeah, pretty much ready it's just Brad now taking ages in the shower"

James explains to you.

You look through the door as he allows you to walk in, so you took a few steps, noticing Connor and Tris ready just waiting around. They both saw you and complimented you seeing your brides maids dress.

"Dam girl don't you look absolutely gorgeous"

Says Tris.

"You honestly look beautiful"

Says Connor.

"Aww, thanks to both of you. Right, I'm just checking to see if you're all ready cause we haven't got long, so please tell Brad to get a shift on swe you all down there"

You said tonthem all and then mare your way out to see the progress.

Seconds after, Brad came out of the shower and started to get ready.

"Who was at the door"?

Brad asked the boys.

"Oh, it was Y/N she was just making sure if we were ready, and I said you taking ages"

They all laughed, knowing that it was the truth, but he started to get ready. Tris and Connor made their way to the venue. Now it was Brad and James in the room.

"Mate you need to ask her out"

Says James.

"Ask who out"?

Asked Brad.

"Who else? Y/N, of course, she has feelings for you. I can tell, and Tris and Con have also noticed it. You like her, don't you, mate? You don't have to hide it if you like her then go for it she is a lovely sweet person"

Said James.

"It's not that I don't want to mate. I love what we have, and I don't want to ruin our friendship. You know that's all I'm worrying about that"

Brad explains.

"I know, but you won't know til you try, mate. Sit next to her today, and I am sure sparks will fly"

He listens to his friend and then makes their way to the venue. Everyone started to arrive perfectly on time. You stood by the door, greeting all the guests and making everyone in the right place as there were minutes left to the actual ceremony. You noticed Brad from a distance talking to James and Tris and Con, and he noticed you and gave you a friendly smile.

Moments after the bride came walking in and ceremony had commenced, you looked for a space, and then you felt a tap on your shoulder, noticing it was Brad indicating for you to take a seat next to him and so you did.

"You handsome by the way"

You whisper to him.

"Thank you. You look absolutely beautiful. Honestly, you really do"

He says to you.

He takes your hand in his, and you smile at him as he does the the same to you. You instantly have the urge to blush but don't want him to notice or anyone foe that matters.

Once the ceremony was done and everything was just so perfect, now there was nothing left to do other than to party. Everyone was just happy and enjoying each others company, and you spent a lot of time with Brad and, of course, with other people too. Who were your friends.

Everyone did have a lot to drink at this point. Some were seriously drunk, but I still had a great time, and that was just great to see, but it was getting late, but I didn't want to leave as they loved the moments.

You and Brad were really having fun. You both danced together and had the greatest time. Of course, there was a lot of laughter and happiness.

Everyone was making their way back to their hotel room, and you gently dragged Brad into your room as the pair of you were seriously drunk, and so was Brad.

"Well, that was fun"

You said while jumping on to your bed, kicking off your high heels, which was a relief as your feet were killing you. Brad then joined you on the bed next to you.

The room was dimmed as you only turned on a few lights.

"It was absolutely loved. I loved spending every moment with you, though I never knew you could dance like that"

Said brad.

"Me, you were amazing, Brad, honestly. I had a great time. I really thought I was going to he alone today cause you bd busy with everyone else"

You told him.

"I could never do that. You mean a lot to me. Honestly, you do. I have always felt something towards Y/N, but I wasn't sure if you felt the same way about me"

He expressed to you.

"Brad, what are you saying?"

You ask him as you thought you were hearing things.

"I am in love with you. I have been for ages but I didn't know how to tell you or ruin our friendship but I today I realised thst I want to be more than just your friend I want to be more than just that" he says.

"Thwn show me then," you said.

He then grabbed you and pulled you towards him. You looked into his eyes and saw all lust and hunger in his eyes. He saw the same in you. He gently places his hand on your face, gently cupping it in his soft, warm hands. You instantly fell in love with his touch.

You then moved your hands and gently placed them around his neck. His hands went down to your hips while gently rubbed against his body while pulling you close towards his body.

"Do you want this?" He said softly, gently rushing his lips cross yours.

"I do," you reply.

Instantly, your lips touched and were glued together not much longer. Your bodies were, too. You needed him. You needed him more than anything. He unzipped your dress, letting it fall down to the ground and seconds after removing his shirt and tossed to one side of the room as he lifted you up, then gently laid you down on the bed.

Lips still locked, he kissed every single inch of you, and this carried on throughout the night...

[holds mic towards you] have you anything to say about the higher availability of strange chests through higgins and how it affects the powerful yet vulnerable beast known as "the economy?"

ive seen so many people throughout notn complaining about higher chest availability and lower egg drop rates meaning less profit for them, and after some scrolling throughout your blog ive found an explanation to the things ive been wondering about for a while; that the profits of specific people are not "the economy", and the economy is only changed by people's decisions around money. so, then, how *does* more availability of strange chests actually affect the economy? if you care to comment c: (sorry for how rambly this is! props to you for being able to so succinctly talk about something so confusing)

TBH I don't have anything particularly intelligent to say on this topic 😅 as it's really just a matter of basic supply and demand. When one evaluates the economy, it's usually from the perspective of some person or group. So people who are hoping to make profits off of eggs are not going to be happy, as you've noted, but people who want cheaper eggs will be happy. It does seem like egg prices will be permanently depressed, and I wonder if this will have a significant effect in the dragon population over time. Not sure yet.

Everything else related to strange chests is pretty negligible as there were soooo many chests, even before Higgins, that the fams, etc. are worth barely anything.

Personally, I would not bother investing in eggs. I do not think they were ever worthwhile. Selling strange chests is almost always better than opening them (we can determine this because we know the egg drop rate). Using the gems earned from this to buy the gem exclusive items to sell during the summer is the way to go. The Baldwin items can also be sold later for a good profit. Or, you can use your cauldron to brew the normal Baldwin genes, which skyrocket in price around NotN because everyone is busy brewing NotN stuff. Brewing strange chests is one of the worst things you can do in terms of generating the most profit.

For the third year running, I'm buying and trading for every Battered Vase and Glazed Sentry familiar I can! You know those two jar familiars with the horrible teeth? Yeah, I want as many as my grubby little pizza hands can get! My goal is to get one thousand this year, doubling my stock!
