this isn't anywhere near a coherent thought but even aside from me knowing about jessie + mary and lillian ahead of time yk twig is inherently a queer narrative, being about the misfits and those who're left behind by society/empire. also transitioning has never been easier. or maybe harder due to how the biopunk discoveries have reinforced the culture of 1800s england? *devolves into incoherent mumbling*
