also do you guys ever get annoyed when you're reading a really good fic but there's just like one or two specific details that are just so.. off???

like I think it's probably a personal thing but I was reading one fic and it was really well written and shit but I was still stuck on the fact that both eddie and steve had full-on fucking beards and they CUT EDDIE'S HAIR???? like it just was a record scratch moment for me every time I tried to visualize it

with this situation it's a personal thing, I'm sure it makes perfect sense for them to grow facial hair in the future or whatever. but I hope other people have similar experiences cuz then I just feel nitpicky

#OH AND LIKE #THERE WAS A FIC WHERE STEVE TURNED PUNK #AND I KNOW THE WHOLE POINT WAS THAT HE CHANGED A SHIT TON FROM HIGH SCHOOL BUT #i couldn't fucking get past the fact that Steve Fucking Harrington #had a BRIGJT GREEN mohawk #that was held together with fucking WOOD GLUE. #like i was looking at the imaginary reality tv camera in shock bro
