imagining creating a minecraft server where the streamers stay together talking theories, they’re so into the lore and events they got the past weekend talking through discord at late night, after that just playing random games, some of them off stream, because they ENJOY and LOVE to talk with each other. imagining creating a minecraft server where everyone can talk and have a solution if they have a problem instantly, they try to communicate every single thing if is uncomfortable for them to do. with different languages, cultures, personalities, time zones.

qsmp is something just alex would create, and the admins put so much effort into everything, every small detail, attending everyone. i learned so much with them, i’m so grateful to follow this project.

fuck it i want to throw my hat into the ring: although bolas “won” purgatory (as much as anyone can win the game of a sadistic voyeur who calls you sinners and forces you to murder your friends and loved ones), it was team GGN that really SURVIVED it, and who overcame it. They were the ones who had moral codes, who only did what was necessary against their friends and who, even after their separation, had the most people on the boat back to the island when all was said and done. The Eye never broke their minds like Bolas, or their spirits like Soulfire. They played the game and got out of it when it was over and I don’t think it’s appreciated enough how much they took it into their stride.

I would say more but I can’t articulate my sheer amount of love for this team despite the fact they got “terminated” (I don’t think you can ever truly destroy a team with that much chemistry lmao - see q!Etoiles, q!Fit and q!Bagi in the resistance, q!Mouse and q!Fit’s interactions on and off Egg Island, the “big boy” nickname… and that’s just from a huevito perspective!!) , and I honestly think that it’s a testament to all of their characters that they made it to the boat to escape. q!Fit carrying q!Bagi, q!Roier acting on survival instincts and fighting his way to the boat despite leaving behind his family, q!Etoiles getting there at the last second, bringing up the flank behind his team,,,, i’m so normal abt them you’ve got to believe me im sooooo normal

Today has been so fun for green team content wise, we had the early team hyping themselves up and plotting, currently we have Forever watching Etoiles' stream, Roier playing but not being able to talk because he's sick so he's communicating through soundboards in the call and on the ingame chat, Bagi is collecting stuff for the egg base, they get excited over goblins, black tea and enchantments.

The discrepancy with the first days is insane now that they are on at the same time-ish and calmer about the situation

No One Made It Out Unscathed.

everyone on every day at the exact second the server opens, weekly or monthly streamers suddenly becoming daily streamers, chill players suddenly calculating out which food gives the best saturation or how to get 0.1% of a point better on missions, Tubbo having actual nightmares, Cellbit's voice that wasn't great at the start taking even more of a beating due to constant screaming, Roier fully losing his shit a week and a half in - leading to a completely player-driven reset of how the xp and enchantment systems were being utilised (Because Everyone Was Fucking Miserable), the point where the gay ninjas had been eliminated but not told what would happen to them so everyone was like really weirdly intensely stressed out for about 14 hours, Tubbo just being too actually psyched out to beat Phil in the 1v1, how REAL the emotions were from the creators when they finally saw their kids again and THEN THE ROOF STARTED TO CAVE IN, loads of creators just taking a full break from the server when the nuke went off with a bunch of them not returning for MONTHS, the creators later being asked if they want to join purgatory two and many being like "lmao, no ❤️" and two characters (very much main characters in terms of lore) straight up canonically dying in the nuke blast

and there was just... a vibe to it. our eggs will die if we lose. if we're not being lied to AND if we're not the cursed team. how do we know who's the cursed team? should we lose on purpose if we're not? we're obviously the cursed team (EVERY TEAM SAID THIS).

and the chatters didn't escape the psychological torture this event organically produced. our children have been missing for months at this point and it almost doesn't matter who wins because everyone is at the end of their tether and absolutely every egg could theoretically die.

Can I talk about how much I am loving Green Ninjas organization these last two days? The Big Boys login early and do all necessary to make everything easier for the ones who will login later, then Bagi and ElQuackity enters and are like the wild cards, they manage to do what is missing still, be it building, farming, being diplomatic (/j) or being a bait for a plan, then BloodHounds are here, and is all ready, they can focus on gear and enchantment, and be as prepared as possible for battle. Not to mention, Ironmouse who logged yesterday and right away was included in the plan and all the progress they made, and made a huge difference (finding apple sapplings).

And all the time, they're hyping each other for the smalliest things, even when one of them starts to thinks it's not helping that much, they're always "no, it's okay, you did enough, it's no problem if you died, you are helping still!"

And at the end of the day, all that matters is that they're having fun.

it's so interesting to me how after all that, neither side tried to kill each other. almost everyone was fighting for a tie. it would have doomed then, but in that moment, nearly everyone was working together, no matter what team they were on. either team could have clinched the victory just by trying to kill a member of the other team.

it could have been so easy! tubbo gave himself right up to quackity and roier, and they could have tried to kill him there, even with his gear, because roier is a strong pvper. but they didn't. and pierre and bad talked about killing green at various points, and they never did. it would have been so easy to kill quackity, but they never tried.

they really did all fight for that tie, and the fact that they all worked together for it but still ended up with the best possible outcome (green knowing they had people fighting for them, the possibly cursed team moving on, not having everyone die from a tie) is so important to me.
