Random thoughts about Power Rangers that occurred to me while watching Stranger Things a couple weeks back:
Most of the characters/actors were born in the early to late 70s, or early 80s (???).
Most of the Saban-era Power Rangers* are either late Gen-Xers, or first wave Millennials (more likely), attending/graduating high school, going to college (MMPR-to-PRIS) and becoming working stiffs (PRLG-to-PRWF).
The Disney-era Power Rangers (PRNS-to-PROO) are Middle-to-Babby Millennials in at different points of their high school “careers”, and by the time the show returns from it’s extended hiatus in the early 2010s, all the Saban-Hasbro era Power Rangers are Early-to-Middle Gen-Zers in high school, etc.
*Minus Justin, probably the only babby Millennial with a starring role in the series early on lmao

The kid in me still wants to meets the cast of Lost Galaxy, so bad. Like, I would ascend, seeing them in person.
Adult me, however, is trying to steer her in the other direction, like “live in the dream, baby.”

Awww yisss
While I’m still considering getting either time life or 20th anniversary box sets, I just remembered Power Rangers Lost Galaxy has a separate DVD release. I’mma snatch that shit up so fast and roll in the bubbly nostalgia of embarrassment.
