📖✨ Almost every believer knows the sweet assurance of Jeremiah 29:11 💖 as we relate that amazing verse to ourselves and our ever unpredictable life journey, we probably memorize it without even trying - holding on to God's promise of a hope and a future. But we must take a minute to think.. Is it enough to know that God has a plan? Or should we read a little more... for it continues... verse 12-13: Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. God knows the plan, but how about OUR plan of action? Our part in the process? What should we do? Call Come Pray ~God will listen Seek with ALL your heart ~We will find God. If we want God to listen and be found by us, let's truly seek Him. 📖✨ Sometimes, we ask ourselves, "WHERE IS GOD?" We couldn't see Him with our naked eyes, and we tend to substitute Him with images or idols.. or most often, being good. Sadly, a lot of us believe that if we're 'good' according to our standards, we're fine and we can live without truly knowing our Creator. The truth is, God has always been there. From the beginning and forevermore. We're living in His creation - we are part of His creation. And remember, it is not God who drifted away from us. It was us in the Garden of Eden who didn't listen to God. We weren't supposed to die. Yet, we had chosen to listen to a stranger rather than our Father. And all throughout the history, God has been coming near to us... Through Abraham, Moses and many more of His people to tell us how much He loves us even when we had disobeyed 🙏 He even promised an eternal life with Him... Sending His Son, our Lord Jesus, so that we could be with our Heavenly Father again. Instead of us dying from our sins, Jesus became human and humbled Himself for us.. it is God's will for us to share a wonderful life of forgiveness, love, and happiness. But for some reason, the stranger that once tricked us still lurks around with his deceiving pleasure and worldliness. It wants to keep us away from God's lovingkindness. God will be victorious in the end 🙏 We just have to be faithful and have an open heart to accept His love. That's how amazing a parent is - He's waiting for us to come home. And through the Holy Spirit, in light of this season, may God continue to reveal His love and Word to all of us. 💖💖💖 If you have truly read this caption, perhaps God has a blessed purpose and important message. 📖✨ The Armour of God The Belt of Truth Breastplate of Righteousness Shoes of Readiness & Peace Helmet of Salvation Shield of Faith Sword of the Spirit It's just so amazing that most of God's armour is something that we could use to defend ourselves. 🙏 The only weapon that we have is the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. 💖 Just like how the Devil tempted Jesus Christ three times... Even if the enemy has used God's word out of context to attack and tempt Jesus, Jesus rebuked it through Scriptures as well. The enemy has a way to turn God's word into subject of human critique. Even from the Garden of Eden, the serpent was like, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden?" He's so tricky! And he has a crafty way of twisting the wonderful message of God full of love and mercy into something that people would not like to read. Let's not let him win though. 📖✨ Praise God for today! 🥰 I feel so blessed to have found a certain group on Facebook called "Daily Scripture Writing Plan" 🙏 I have been wanting to read the Bible every day, and have asked some Christian friends for Devotional book recommendations. However, if my goal is to talk to God and ask for Him to work in my life, their only recommendation is none other than the Bible itself 💘 Instead of relying on men and inspiring quotes for enlightenment, isn't it better to receive the message from our Father as well as our Teacher, Lord Jesus Christ Himself... With the help of God's chosen people like apostle Paul to talk to us through His Word 🌹 I've been praying 'cause I didn't really know where to start. Finally, I came across that Facebook group with other believers who author some plans that in God's grace and lovingkindness, would aid us as we try to seek God with all our hearts 💕 *I'm a little reluctant to share this on Bookstagram though. Yet, I know that this is a community of readers who respect and love one another! And I feel so happy to have found friends here as well 💖 I hope you don't mind me sharing something that's so important to me 🙏 P.S. it's the world's best-selling book of all time!
