i have a jamun tree, a mango tree, a lychee tree, a pomegranate tree, a guava tree, a lemon tree, and a runner bean tree! there might be some more i dont know of, i don’t go out in the backyard often..the jaam/jamun tree (not sure what the fruit is called in english, i’ve heard it being referred to as black plums) is my biggest and it produces SO MUCH fruit like probably hundreds each year. we’ve fed so many people our jaam. like when it’s harvesting season i will literally have buckets full in my house. my dad set up a tarp underneath the tree because it has so much fruit that even more buckets worth just fall on the floor. the amount of fruits it makes has been slowing down but that makes sense since we’ve had it for a long time. the guava tree (was) my second biggest and also produced a lot of fruit but a few years ago we saw a lot of pests in the guava we picked so we cut it down :( but honestly growing fruit/vegetable trees is so great because i’ve created so many memories with them….they are like pets to me they’re apart of my family

Literallyyy I love having fruit trees it's so great. We have three mangoes, three jaboticabas, a lychee, a jack fruit, a star fruit, a passion fruit vine and a miracle berry bush I think ^^ I loveee having fruit trees. Oh also we have a sea grape! It's fruiting now

My backyard is absolutely enormous #With multiple apple and fig trees #blackberry brambles #a persimmon loquat and cherry tree #in my front I have a lemon bush #and I think a grape vine and pecan tree? Though I haven’t seen either of them produce yet #Most if the yard gets sun too #So it’s optimal for growing gardens #There’s a good few yards of brush between the fence and usable yard #So that’s great for shade gardens and little tunnel havens #Oh! And I have a yellow grapefruit bush #Still trying to convince my mum for chickens #Though we live next to a river and attract enough predator animals as is #I’ll be working on tilling up some ground beds for a couple flower/vegetable gardens this winter #And currently drafting out some plans for a small propagation greenhouse #Trying so hard to make my studio ghibli film dream come true

yesterday I went to someone's house and they had a grapefruit tree so I decided at like 10 pm that the best course of action would be to rip a few open and eat them, a few turned into 10+ grapefruits being ripped in half and drunken from like a cryptid hunched over in the back corner of my friends garden. there was enough juice on the ground to make mud to cake my shoes in. I was sticky. apparently, my slurping noises could be heard from ten feet away.

I don't get grapefruit often, and I feel like that has changed me in a way that cannot be undone. (it messes with my meds, they'd already worn off by that time though so we're good.)
