Today was uneventful day, and he didn't need a reason to go outside in that cold weather: so Shuichi decided to just stay in his room for today, excitedly taking this chance to finally indulge in his newest book purchase. He paused his reading at one point when hearing someone at his door. Seeing that it was Kaede, was a nice surprise. He was always happy to see her.

"Hi, Kaede-san! Oh, h-heh heh: so you knew, huh? Thank you for wanting to check up on me... b-but, um-!!" At the light scolding, he waves his hands in protest while smiling sheepishly. "I-I've been taking care of myself, really!! I took breaks in between reading to at least eat!" She knows him far too well, he thinks to himself..!
