I love reading all of your concert reports, so I'll have a try myself for Joker Out in Cologne Kantine at 24th of March.

- I had an EE ticket and arrived around 13 o'clock. There was a queue already, but not too wild (got number 59).

- the weather was quite unsteady, with lots of wind and occasional rain. Lots of umbrellas and rain covers.

- the queuing started around 17:30 o'clock, early entry was allowed in around 18:30 o'clock.

- Sound check was lovely. The boys were in a good mood. Bojan explained about what the procedures of soundcheck. And we got a Nace + Jan jamming session. They played two songs - Dopamin and Proti Toku.

- Sector 5 started as an opening band. They played really well and were energetic on stage. Some people started singing along

- JC Stewart was a total contrast to them, being alone on stage with only his acoustic guitar. His songs were really powerful and full of emotions.

- The JO performance was amazing. They were so energetic, cheerful and seemed to have a great time. Kris seemed to take it a bit slower - he might still be sick

- Looots of Jance action, smirks and heart eyes. Jan leaning his head to Nace's chest, them screaming at each other, Nace nearly kissing Jan. That was a 5 star girl (gn) dinner

- Bojan as a fairy with pink wings, taking his job really seriously. Kris wore a tiny crown with a veil, Jan a fluffy tiara

- During Metulji, they both wore butterfly head crowns and Bojan had his fairy wings back on. He cracked up seeing people do the Macarena during the song, but caught himself again.

- Jan's guitar was somehow out of tune. They stopped the song and he tried fixing it by himself. During the second try, he went rushing to Kiki to exchange guitars.

- Umazane Misli "only" had a few people singing. I remember a really well-sung German version, Russian, Dutch (?) and of course Slovene. Bojan was in the crowd with Vita, encouraging the singers. Sector 5 was in the crowd as well, and the singer

- Jan dancing Macarena during UM and taught it to Nace. Bojan parted the sea crowd and made us take turns in singing UM

- Jure was an absolute beast on the drums. It was so intense

- after the concert we waited outside for the boys to come out. Jan eventually came and took pictures. Jure was hanging out with the people from Sector 5

All in all a wonderful concert experience. Can't wait for Munich tomorrow

We arrived halfway through the first opener and were all the way at the left at kris' side at like 6th row

Soooo soo happy they played šta bih ja, I was kinda worried they'd keep rotating out the new songs (though I was kinda hoping for behind those eyes with a little encouragement at Kris in dutch )

Umazane Misli went on for so long but the first Dutch translation was SO GOOD, it kept the meaning of the original but it flowed so well

We also got UM in Friesian and Limburgs(?) so thats cool

We had a Slovene girl behind her with her Dutch boyfriend/friend? and when Metulj started she got very exited and asked him what butterfly was in Dutch and it was adorable

During Metulj Nace changed his sweater?

Kris' ass is so good irl

queue curse: missed jure walking by and nace and kris laughing at the queue for turning up the volume of cha cha cha because of looking for a public toilet and getting food respectively 🫠

jc stewart also walked by like four? times and people only started noticing around the third time or something, sorry jc stewart

bojan said that they love playing in smaller venues during soundcheck which made me laugh because of the downgraded berlin venue

kris ngvot but he looked so unenthusiastic about it and only did it after talking to bojan who I guess talked him into it? sorry kris, you were amazing though

bojan loved the shirt @zadig-fate made for him ❤️ he's such a nerd for being obsessed with eurotrip and was so excited to be like “this is a eurotrip quote!!!” lmao

bojan got a harmonica, said he couldn't play it, and then still played the wedding march on it because of course he was able to do that

bojan's slut leather(?) shirt 🫠 I hope damon suggested he should wear it because you could see his chest very well and he was moving so much and jfc

ended up on kris's side and since this was a no barrier stage he and his pants and ass were so close to me that I felt awkward directly looking at him 😭

jan just doing jan stuff. annoying jure and hitting his cymbals. casually sitting down onto the piano chair during umazane misli while continuing to play the guitar. this guy I swear

bojan got so emotional during EW that it actually made me emotional too. and the panic attack cheer 😂

the fact that the song can stay “schlager” for us german audiences and bojan yapping something about imagining that we're at an old people birthday party or something idk

the guys were very confused about the berlin flag 😂 jan was kinda holding it, very unsure, then went over to kiki, then went over to nace and they were just kind of. looking at the flag and then jan turned to kris and mouthed "berlin??" and kris signalled him a yes which was very funny

just. the vibes of the crowd. everyone was so respectful and we genuinely had an amazing energy. berlin crowd I love you so much

vita said they got the stage measurements beforehand and knew that racik's art wouldn't fit on the stage lmao. she's also super sweet and so easy to talk to. love u vita thanks for all the photos (selfishly glad she's pausing her studies for this)

hugged teya before she had to leave and didn't get to talk to nace and kris but managed to catch jan afterwards and had him sign in my gig book and it was? such a nice crowd? everyone was waiting and chatting for a bit and then when we were all finished jan was hovering there a bit awkwardly before saying bye and leaving. it was amazing and so chill (again. berlin crowd I love you.)

Leipzig

jure was walking by and we waved and a person turned around to see who we were waving at and let out a very loud “oh my god” after spotting jure. absolutely hilarious, we all burst out laughing

while the queue was being organised, kris, jc stewart with jure, vita, and nace behind them were walking down the street next to the queue and nace waved at us but no one paid attention (busy with the queue) so he kinda. stopped lmao

literally like ten minutes after that, jan seemed to try catching up to them but didn't know where to go so he just stared very intently at his phone and stopped in the middle of the street, turned left and walked right by us, then apparently went to far and had to turn back. top ten janči moments

kris walked into the soundcheck with a mug in his hand and left pretty quickly again after soundcheck was finished, he's just so funny to me

bojan said that it was a nice change that the EA crowd were mostly germans which like. ok.

the boys came down to us to talk and take pics with us after the soundcheck??? so nice of them but it confused the hell out of me (I wasn't prepared and was very intimidated by suddenly having a bojan directly in front of me)

a friend I was with asked bojan about the jo travel curse and munich because it's been horrible at least for us living in germany (snow chaos for munich, snow chaos when trying to travel to esns in january, train strike on the day of the berlin gig) and he just kinda forgot about munich until he was like “oh yeah right. it was still an amazing gig though.” 🥺

okay so. now we come to what was an absolutely insane concert

first we saw the eyeliner jure pic and went “oh my god??” and then he actually came on stage like that and we lost it. and then bojan came on stage with that lace shirt and we lost it again. not kidding when I say my favourite insane moment was me turning around to grip @itskrejsaitsparty's hand as I was trying to comprehend what I was seeing. Just. jfc.

bojan asked who had never been to a JO gig before and from what I could see it was around 50%? so there were a lot of new people which is probably also one reason why the energy was insane like that

bojan couldn't stop holding his belt and thrusting his hips, what the fuck 🫠

since I was in the middle I was also privvy to many cute jance looks and moments, they really are just like that on stage

the nace solo because someone requested a bass solo?? and how nace started and everyone joined and then bojan's “let's go nace” just. what even was happening at that point

everything surrounding metulji. first bojan giving jan that pic to “get him in the mood.” jan pretending to kiss it. it falling down making us all giggle and bojan already being on the brink of losing it and then losing it completely and jan stopping to just play different chords on the piano while bojan was trying to get it together. we really broke him 😭 and he was trying so hard to get back into the sad metulji mood and then he apologised for it afterwards like “i'm sorry this was so unprofessional of me” like dude. the was the best moment I've ever seen on stage

bojan was so keyed up that when kiki came to him to switch guitars he just bounced around him and started saying stuff to kiki and leaned his face towards him (I wouldn't be surprised if he expected another cheek kiss but shhhhh)

bojan AGAIN because he was jumping over the barrier and back on stage right next to me after umazane misli and I was like. what do I do. Do I, like, help him??? Can he do it by himself??? what if he topples over and I'm right next to him. Gah. In the end I just pressed myself back into @braveheart1418, stared at the back of bojan's lace shirt in slight horror and let Kiki do his thing 🫠 (I need a bojči break now I'm too anxious for any of this)

the gig went by so quickly because of all the stuff that happened that it was such a surprise when they said it was nearly over

I literally sank onto the floor after the gig because I couldn't understand what had just happened. so many memorable moments. I'm glad everyone just went down onto the floor with me, love you ❤️

everyone (except kris) came out to talk and take pics afterwards but bojan left quickly because of his health. and also, you know. damon baker. what a sweetheart. with all the stuff that happened, being able to talk to him about his art was such a lovely moment and I still can't believe that he was there

In the most funniest turn of events I managed to have everyone including damon baker sign in my gig book except for kris which is hilarious to me and so very fitting for him

I'm still trying process everything that happened but thank you so much to everyone I met and talked to and who made stuff for me, in particular @zadig-fate, @izpira-se-zlato, @braveheart1418, @esskuesli, @occhi-verdi-come-il-mare and @itskrejsaitsparty 💕💕💕

*Crackles knuckles* time for Blind Channel.

I only remember one of the songs that was played while the stage was finishing being set up and it was 'Everyone' by Backstreet Boys most of the crowd sang along to it. I think that was the last song before Blind channel came on to stage.

Blind channels intro music was 'saints go marching in'. As soon as that started playing and the lights dimmed down. The crowd started clapping, whistling, stamping there feet and screaming.

All the members of Blind Channel are fucking talented singers and musicians. But holy shit seeing pictures and videos of them is one thing, but in the flesh....Like with Lost Society my brain went blank for a few seconds and my jaw dropped.

After my initial shock wore off. I couldn't stop smiling and singing/screaming along to the songs. Also it was so nice to see them all smiling and happy. But there was something about Joel's smile which honestly made me feel really really happy and stuck with me - not sure why though.

If I remember correctly I think only Tommi and Olli didn't talk to the crowd.

Part way through Autopsy I remember looking to the right of the stage and Olli was doing that stare........you know which stare I'm talking about 🥵. I was yet again in shock and just stared at him. After some difficulty I made myself look at what the other members were doing and made the fateful mistake of looking at Joonas. He was on the opposite side of the stage to Olli.........he was doing the same thing as Olli. Yet again my brain malfunctioned and after what felt like forever they stopped the staring. That short time that they were staring was intense.

Joonas needs to sing more......please I beg you Joonas!!!! I love his voice. Also when he did sing - it might have just been how I interpreted it - but it seemed as if Joel was trying to hype him up.

They did a cover of Rolling by Limp Biskit.

I honestly don't remember much of what any of them said when talking to the crowd - mostly think they were thanking the crowd for being there, supporting them etc etc - but I remember when a mosh pit was being opened up Niko said something like 'There are only two rules I need everyone to follow. One have fun and second if someone falls in the mosh pit you pick them the fuck up.'

At the end of the gig after they performed there encore song. While the band was bowing the song 'In The End' by Linkin Park started playing and the entire crowd sang along to it with them.

Also I may have a few videos of them performing if anyone is interested. But please note that I think most of them are less then a minute long.

Joonas has the voice of an angel and I can only imagine it live 😭. I'm glad you said it looked like Joel was hyping him, that's what I've been thinking from all the clips. Joonas as said before he's not confident singing in stage so of course his twin would try to help him out 🥺

Ah yes, the pit rules. What responsible artists remind people of 😌

so we went to the Nokia Arena show and it looked so cool and it sounded so cool and I was dancing and singing and screaming and Niko played a medley on the piano and brb I'm gonna paint red BC logos on my piano too and he also rapped in Finnish ("kun mä huudan havuja te huudatte PERKELE") and they dressed in white and played the Backstreet Boys cover and it was so much fun and we went to the offical after party and they came to say hi there too (minus Niko) and Samy was there and I talked to him and Tommi walked right past us when we were about to leave and I said "hi" and he said "yeah pls leave me alone" and a lot of fun was had in the form of laughing and dancing and singing and I love you all can we do this again immediately pls pls pls I don't wanna go back to living my boring life 😭

Gig report! Can't believe there's only two to go after this one :o (for me)

I showed up at 4:45pm (bc I'd chosen to get food at the station) and was still a lower number than in Munich at 2pm. Yeah.

didn't really queue thus, which always makes gigs a bit… different. I miss chatting with people before gigs, but I hadn't wanted to fly (even though after the venue move that would have been even easier. But also catching a 7:30 flight the morning after a gig. Yeah, no)

the queue kinda fell apart because you needed a membership card to get into the venue. We didn't have to pay. But they had to handwrite it for us. Emotions ran a little high

the venue was. Something. Sorta a… festival tent? Not quite outdoors, but definitely Interesting

due to the proximity to the airport, the radio frequencies from planes kept interfering with the equipment. Bojan attempted to explain it to us, but he didn't know it himself and thus mostly listened. I feared for the worst at that point, ngl. They didn't look particularly angry to me, but Bojan was like, "Don't be angry, Jan!" so I was like 😬

Bojan tried to get Jure and then also Nace to jam while they were figuring out their tech issues (Always Something Problem), but it meant Jan couldn't hear himself enough and so we just watched him wander on stage while Bojan tried to entertain us

We got ASTP and Proti Toku for soundchek. My first ASTP in 12 gigs on this tour! Curious to see what we'll get today

Bojan repeatedly called Jan "Jenzo" and then later claimed "Just so you know, Jan's Italian name is Jenzo!" with which the crowd disagreed (and let him know that it should be Gianni)

soundcheck was pretty cold and I almost regretted not having taken my jacket (but it did warm up)

the opener was a brass band. Unexpected but actually fun. Fit the gig, somehow

they played a lot of medleys of known songs and the crowd was pretty into it

JC! God, I barely can believe that it was the second-to-last tie I saw him live like that. I love his acoustic set a lot (in particular the first and last songs xD)

He accidentally unplugged his guitar last night. Kinda a funny moment

pretty sure the hype list was changed. Dirty Little Secret made it into the cut, and to our surprise, Zitti e Buoni didn't. Weird choice, Primož (or so I assume)

Actual gig!

We got Jan in a capybaster shirt and Nace in the cosy sweater and Bojan in a buttoned shirt he got gifted during soundcheck and Jure in the gorgeous metallic sweater and Kris in another cozy sweater

The Jance was off the fucking charts, jfc I hate them idk what was in the air. Probably hadn't seen each other all day (I'm not actually complaining)

We got SSOL opener into… Ne Bi Smel into Ona into Tokio

During Ne Bi Smel Jan was standing in front of Nace's mic so Nace had to push him away to sing the backing vocals (grinning all the while)

Bojan went, "This night is gonna be multilingual" so I was like, oh, Tokio, but no! "We had English, then Slovene, now we're gonna add some Serbian!" Changing his quips for the final stretch, huh?

Nace singing fucking "Dok tebe sunce greje, mi amore" at Jan. I hate him (While the sun warms you up, my love, according to lyrics translate)

They also played at each other during NBS because of course they did

Jan back on Jure's snare drum for the end. Multi-instrumentalist

Tokio! I didn't catch it on video, but Nace leaned in and bumped his nose into Jan's breast? Kissed his coat? I have no clue what he did but I was like ??? Nace?

At the end, they chased each ohter in circles again, and Nace either went down on one knee in front of Jan or almost did so. When the lights came back on, Nace patted Jan's chest while laughing (couldn't make out Jan's expression)

before NGVOT, Nace was thrown bread. A plushie? Actual bread? I don't know

Nace kept looking over at Jan during NGVOT, and when Jan finally met his gaze, he turned to him so they played at each other. Jan was making a mock-surprised grimacing face and playing? And then they just. Turned back to the front. What the fuck, guys

they just. kept looking at each other. Jan looking at Nace while Nace was doing backing vocals. Nace looking back as soon as he was done. Them swaying in sync while Nace smiled smugly about it. And at the end, they did the swaying like. In opposite cycles? So both sawying in and both swaying away, until Nace turned and bent his knees a little and yelled up into Jan's face. Yeah idk.

Jan grasped Nace's shoulders during Demoni and I think spoke the words at him? Or said something else? But that wouldn't make sense? Nace nodded and patted Jan's chest in turn

Nace was pretty silly at the start of the karaoke bit and like. gestured at Jan theatrically and then mimed falling over. Dork

We got the OG OG Umazane Misli chorus. The one Bojan wrote in a hurry the first time they performed it. Made my night -- and Kris's because it's where the very smiley/laughing Kris pics during UM came from

@kurooscoffee/@jokeroutsubs had prepared UNO reserve cards to make the boys sing. Which made the rounds already but gaaah it was !!!!!!

Jan declaiming the verse because "[he] can't sing so [he's] not gonna sing. [He's] gonna interpret it." And interpret he did😂

Jan ducking under Nace's arm to play his bass after he failed to catch Nace's attention to offer, and then just. Going for it.

Plastika saw Bojan caress Nace and then hug Jan from behind (no choking tho)

During Novi Val, Jance stood off to the side being Jance for quite a while, while Jure had his hand weirdly on Bojan's back?

They looked really exhausted by the end which. Mood.

Post gig:

The venue had a scrolling LED screen that scrolled "Everybody's Waiting At The Ball" (thanks, Kris, for the restory!)

Had a chat with Dean (lovely) and JC Stewart (also lovely) and learned that JC and Conor used to live together which is why JC was out with Conor to be introduced to the boys (allegedly before Christmas, though JC wasn't 100%)

hung around the gate after the show even though it was pretty clear they wouldn't say hi, but it gave us a chance to see Mark (who'd surprised the boys with a visit) as he was waiting for someone to let him off the venue grounds. "Well, they'll have to open this at some point, they ordered McDonald's!"

Spoiler: they did not open the gate for McDonalds. Primož tried to scale it, which almost worked but looked dangerous, and so the delivery person threw it over the top. It was a spectacle

by that point, Mark had been let out the old-fashioned way though

Another anon - IMO all it takes to pull him is confidence. As long as you’re confident and you let him know what you want, I think he’s in. He doesn’t seem too particular about physical appearance. I think it’s harder to get the opportunity to properly talk to him than to actually pull him

I think he’d be attracted to confidence too and a girl who really knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it!

I think it must be quite hard for famous people to date sometimes, I mean it’s probably easy to meet someone to hook up with but they’d probably be wary of the reasons why people would wanna be with them if they wanted something more serious.

a partial gig report or also known as an agglomeration of thoughts I'm currently having

Bojan being a bit tense at the beginning of the showcase

all front rows completely slaying it and Bojan visbily relaxing knowing that there's fans present (we were like. 20 or something?)

"You guys suck!" -> to the general audience because they were confused by the screaming part in ssol

"Not you, you're doing great!" -> to us in the front rows

they only had forty minutes so they pretty much rushed through most of the songs without any real banter between

Bojan: "I'm not gonna speak too much because I don't have anything smart to say"

People singing a Dutch birthday song for Kris and Bojan being like "🤨 what's that. okay?" meanwhile Kris just said "thank you 🥰" and moved on

Nace deliberately smacking his head into Jan's shoulder during Tokio. Yeah idk what he was thinking

Bojan saying that they planned to play New Wave instead of Novi Val but seeing that there were so many fans they were gonna play the Slovenian version instead

You're wearing the Kris sweater!), confirming that Kris still has it somewhere and that the holes were made by their former stylist

Kris in person is so awkward in a funny way. Picking up from Nace's info we talked about his sweater, he awkwardly thanked me for buying it? I then gave an awkward response back and said that it was on sale, so no worries. good times! never talking to him again 🫠

Since everyone knew that they were gonna play at the record store the day after, it was a very weird "okay, see you tomorrow!" between everyone

#personal #it basically already says it right there: business stability and their own survival. that's what the council is for #it was initially started kind of by vincent a little bit because he was doing gigs for different fixers all over town and just #their stupid bickering with one another and general sense of hostility he sensed between them made him realize that #none of them would survive the winter like that. too busy fighting each other like what gangs and corporations were also doing #the council is supposed to sort of hold the intricate network of fixers / mercs / clients in night city together #by keeping eyes on every other party involved. so mainly gangs and corps. report any changes in activity and act accordingly #this also to prioritize safety of civilians because that's part of vincent's initial idea and mainly vitali is trying to like #keep that one of the core values of the council #but mainly just to maintain the balance i guess. this is a city that's already hanging on by a thread #so anything that can be done to at least make sure business can continue as usual would be highly beneficial for fixers #but also most of them are mostly in it for themselves and just for like. that part. making sure they can keep their business going #and the infighting is still there as well. you kinda have to look at it as like the pirate council in pirates of the caribbean #and the only reason rogue is kind of their leader a little bit is because everyone voted for themself but vitali decided to vote for rogue #which gave her two votes. and now she's in charge. but also out of all of them she has the most authority and knows what she's doing #anyway hi yes rambling again did you miss my blorboposting. wait until you get to see my extended night city map
