Pros of new blog; post the bio layouts way back when i restarted so i don't spam the dash

Cons, tumblr updated the editors and everything back then is in legacy format, which fucks up everything

I don't believe that thread specifically is in danger, but Twitter itself as an archive/reference will become less and less reliable (it already is). Additionally, Wayback machine crawlers can't auto-store tweets, bc of the way twitter stores them. Twitter's days are numbered, as far as all indicators go. elon has made.....idek how many individually disastrous decisions. I guess he's trying the trump route

always good to have an additional/backup reference for anything you think is valuable, esp if you know it's stored somewhere vulnerable

I knew I should’ve been writing in a word doc then copy-pasted it to tumblr. I was writing something using the drafts thing and tumblr decided to delete all of it for no reason and now I don’t remember everything that I wrote. So, apparently whenever that stupid pop up comes up saying “draft saved” it’s just lying to me bc where’s all my shit then??

@staff why do mobile push notifications now send me to the singular post that was last posted by the person I have these notification alerts on for, instead of at this same post but with the rest of their blog below like before?

I now have to click onto the person's username and scroll past their pinned before I can catch up on the previous posts. What sort of thinking went into this decision to change the app to make it more difficult to just see what I missed on a particular blog, without having to scroll thru the entirety of my dash and pick their posts out, or go to the search bar for their blog every time I want to scroll thru it

Edit: AND IT'S NOT EVEN CONSISTENT so I can't predict when this will happen!! Have you changed the hit box of the push notifications too now????

Edit 2: OH GREAT, TUMBLR LINKS CAN DO THIS TOO NOW! Tumblr I'm so tired. Plz stop changing things that didn't need changing
