“Rerun?”

Wrench piped up and met his gaze with a questioning look, instead of Electra responding Purse does.

“The Steamer crashed halfway through the race. Control called the whole thing off. Said that they were going to postpone it until later.”

He seemed so nonchalant about it but this was news to her. Wrench’s face took on a sour expression as she thought about it.

No one had told her and Turnov that the race was called off. What’s more Greasball was the reason Turnov crashed in the first place causing her to get hurt. And they were just going to do it all again and allow him to keep racing like none of it had happened? like no one had gotten hurt?

She was rightfully fuming by the time the attention turned back to her.

“So that’s it then? They’re just gonna postpone it for an hour or two like people didn’t get hurt? What utter garbage.”

“Well what can they really do? We have to finish this up sometime, and people that got injured will simply have to miss out.”

Electra’s ability to just shrug this off like it was no big deal really pissed her off.
